Operating within the Digital Channel Solutions team under Transaction Banking, you will manage a critical digital cash platform - Straight2Bank - that serves clients across more than 45 global markets, primarily in America and Europe.

This is an exciting hybrid role based in London, United Kingdom, offering the opportunity to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams comprising product managers, designers, engineers, business stakeholders, and client representatives. You will lead strategic initiatives to innovate and optimize end-to-end digital cash management and servicing capabilities, enhancing payments, collections, account services, and reporting functionalities to create seamless, scalable, and secure client experiences aligned with our data-driven and digital-first approach.

As part of a forward-thinking environment, you will spearhead efforts that leverage cutting-edge technologies and market insights, ensuring the platform remains competitive, resilient, and aligned with evolving client needs and industry trends. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital product leadership within the banking sector, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes and deep client value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ownership of the digital cash channel product suite, encompassing account services, payment solutions, collections, and associated client reporting, ensuring a cohesive and user-centric journey.
  • Utilise data analytics and client feedback to deeply understand and map client cash management journeys, identifying pain points and opportunities to drive impactful product enhancements.
  • Design and implement intuitive, consistent, and context-aware digital experiences that benchmark favourably against global best practices and adapt to evolving client expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive product roadmaps translating vision into actionable deliverables, collaborating closely with user research, engineering, and design teams to ensure high-quality and timely execution.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies by partnering with sales, coverage, implementation, and client service teams, orchestrating seamless product positioning, client onboarding, and education initiatives to maximise digital adoption.
  • Champion innovation by challenging conventional paradigms and fostering scalable, future-ready digital solutions that incorporate emerging technologies such as APIs, automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning within a strong governance and risk framework.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of cash management products, market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving digital solutions to proactively inform strategy and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, prioritise features, and resolve conflicts, ensuring stakeholder alignment and product success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • Significant experience in digital platform or channel product management, preferably within a corporate or institutional banking environment, demonstrating a track record of managing complex digital financial products.
  • Proven ability to construct compelling business cases and articulate clear value propositions that influence senior decision-making and resource prioritisation.
  • Hands-on experience integrating applications with internal and external services, including payment gateways, authentication frameworks, and third-party data providers through APIs and related technologies.
  • In-depth expertise in cash management products, combined with a good understanding of the competitive landscape and market dynamics.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating complex organisational structures and building consensus across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with digital adoption strategies, as well as the application of AI and other advanced technologies to solve client challenges and improve digital experiences.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
