Job Summary
This role will be responsible for driving the end-to-end Wealth Management (WM) and Bancassurance product agenda, including business planning, product development, lifecycle management, and frontline enablement. The incumbent will ensure an appropriate business structure is in place to support WM growth across all channels, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and stakeholder collaboration. The role will also lead the design and execution of initiatives to deepen customer product holdings, enhance revenues, and strengthen the bank’s WM value proposition in a dynamic market and regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Wealth Management business plan across all channels, ensuring the right business structure is in place to drive growth.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of business dynamics and customer needs to effectively position multiple WM and Bancassurance products and services.
- Plan and deliver initiatives and propositions in line with changing business and regulatory dynamics to increase product holdings and improve revenues.
- Identify product needs across customer segments with General Managers, product managers and segment managers, and develop appropriate product and service offerings.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Bancassurance products, including design, launch, review and enhancement, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage partnerships with insurance providers and ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements and Group policies for all Bancassurance offerings.
- Ensure front-end and sales staff are adequately trained on product features, benefits and competitive positioning, supported by robust sales and training materials.
- Promote product awareness and support a strong Wealth Management culture among existing and prospective clients.
- Monitor financial performance and key metrics to ensure delivery against planned activities and targets.
- Ensure all product documentation, processes and collateral are complete, accurate and kept up to date.
