Who are we looking for?
The Partnership Manager, Credit Card and Lending, will be responsible for strategically identifying, cultivating, and managing key partnerships with merchants, payment processors, and technology providers to drive credit card usage, enhance customer value propositions, expand our merchant instalment program offerings and participate in digital lending ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Partnership Development:
     Identify and develop new business opportunities with a wide variety of merchants (retail, e-commerce, travel, etc.) to offer exclusive credit card benefits, rewards, instalment payment options & loan distribution.
  • Card Usage & Activation Campaigns: Formulate and execute innovative, data-driven marketing and sales strategies in collaboration with partners to enhance card usage, drive new account acquisition, and improve customer retention.
  • Relationship Management with Processors: Cultivate and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with major payment processors, specifically Global Payments and Fiserv. Act as the central point of contact, ensuring alignment of objectives and smooth execution of joint initiatives.
  • Merchant Instalment Programs: Drive the creation, implementation, and performance monitoring of merchant instalment programs, working closely with internal product and finance teams and external partners to ensure a seamless customer experience and regulatory compliance.
  • Lending Distribution: Identify, negotiate, and launching partnerships with financial digital platforms to expand lending reach.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, contracts, and commercial terms that foster mutually beneficial outcomes and ensure profitability for the credit card portfolio.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Legal and Compliance teams to align partnership goals with overall business objectives 
  • Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor the performance of all partnerships against predefined metrics (KPIs), analyze data to identify opportunities for enhancement, and provide regular reporting and performance updates to senior management.
  • Market Insight & Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, the competitive landscape on usage, instalment partnerships to ensure Mox offerings remain at the forefront of the payments industry.

Skills and Experience

  • University graduate with 5+ years of business development and/or partnership management experience in Hong Kong. Experience in banking or financial services will be beneficial.
  • Strong track record in business development or partnership management, across sourcing, managing, and negotiating with partners.
  • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with a flexible mindset able to work under a both a fluid plus fast-paced business and market environment.
  • Strong project management and financial analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in both Chinese and English.
