Job Summary
Assessing and approving unsecured lending products within delegated authority
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual credit underwriting in Unsecured Lending products acquisition and limit increase approval within delegated authority and ensure the credit approvals are complying of Credit Policy and HKMA guidelines
- Review and analyze applicants’ credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documentation to assess creditworthiness to recommend or approve applications
- Quality assurance in underwriting and well manage on the credit approval process turnaround time
- Facilitate and support the launch of new product/ projects. Lead the Credit Initiation Operation to identify, coordinate, drive and implement the changes
- Design and review operation flows from time to time. Support UAT and implementation for the underwriting process change
- Collaborate and sharing with other stakeholders on risk identifications in post approval review
- Ensure all Credit Initiation policies and procedures comply with Credit Policies and Standards. Ensure proper and updated documentation in place
- Keep abreast of prevailing market developments, industry knowledge, the Bank's policies/ guidelines and regulatory requirements
- As a lead, Credit Initiation Operation in encouraging and promoting an active training and learning environment to facilitate excellence in risk management, risk awareness, behaviors and accountability
- Embed the Mox’s values and code of conduct in Credit underwriting to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees forms part of the culture
- Accountable for satisfactory closure of issues / gaps arising from Internal and external Audits, peer reviews and regulatory reviews
Skills and Experience
- With at least 5-8 years of experience in Credit Initiation Operation on unsecured loan products, credit card, preferably in financial industry
- Bachelor degree, or / another equivalent professional qualification
- English, Chinese
- Strong self-motivation and positive attitude with good project management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to bring divergent ideas to create new and valuable solutions
- Resilience to stress, able to unlock full potential and prepare for the future of work
