Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will work closely with the Development Manager and Development Leads to manage the delivery of multiple complex software development projects in a timely, controlled and predictable manner using Agile methodology.

You’ll use your strong coaching facilitation and interpersonal skills to identify and engage with project stakeholders and then manage ongoing communications to ensure all are kept informed at an appropriate level.

As the Scrum Master you’ll be the driving force for ensuring scrum is understood and enacted. Working in close collaboration with the various Development Leads, who have responsibility for ownership of the developer resources, you’ll be responsible for coaching the development team to self-organise and create high value products and remove impediments to the Development Teams’ progress.

 

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of complex system solutions using Agile methodology, establishing and controlling project constraints and scope.
  • Manage relationships and communication with all project stakeholders
  • Ensure the team adheres to scrum theory, practices and rules, and work as a servant leader within the project team.
  • Provide clear ownership for and visibility of the resolution of all project risks and issues
  • Lead improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the project delivery service and contribute to the identification of areas of improvement.
  • Ensuring the decisions made on project approach are documented and comply the SCB Software Delivery Framework
  • Provide regular, clear and concise progress updates to key stakeholders including the Development Team Lead.
  • Own the relationship with the Product Owner or business sponsor to ensure the project is going in the right direction.
  • Support the Development Manager with Programme Level activates when required.

Skills and Experience

Expertise in all Testing life Cycle stages & industry standard QA process knowledge

Strong Functional / Non-Functional / Integration / Regression Testing techniques knowledge

Exposure to Test Management tools like Jira, ADO Boards, and Confluence, ALM etc

Experience of working in Agile development SCRUM or related methodology in QA capacity

Strong Linux/Unix Operating System knowledge with hands on experience on VI Editor.

Domain Knowledge of Fixed Income / Equity / Foreign Exchange eTrading, Straight Through Processing business flows in either of asset class.

Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to effectively interact with DEV, PSS, management and business stakeholders.

Troubleshooting skills in a complex testing environment.

Experience of using source code control configuration and Build tools like Bitbucket, GIT, Maven, Jenkins build tool and InteliJ or Eclise as IDE
