JOB SUMMARY
The RM leads Shenzhen LCMM team with several experienced RM, covers a portfolio of existing clients, originates the banking cooperation with new to bank clients, establishes the account strategy and leads multiple business products and partners for collaboration, and take accountability for client revenues and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business
• To proactively manage (deepen) existing relationships for the designated Liability portfolio and acquire new clients (LCMM), with the objectives of maximizing financial goals and up-tier client relationship.
• To strategically formulate account plans by cross-selling the Bank’s products and services and providing clients need-based solutions, in order to deliver the business goals.
• To ensure internal / external KYC (know your customer) requirements are adhered to AML and CDD policies and procedures
• To timely handle customers’ requests and/or complaints in accordance with established procedures.
• To cautiously manage tail/exit process to minimize client complaints.
• Work closely as a team with other Relationship Managers to share some ARM responsibilities when required.
Processes
• The Liabilities Parent Account Manager is responsible for the overall Client Group Account Plan/Client Strategy.
• The RM is responsible for his/her portfolio Account Planning (client strategy) process and is responsible for providing support with this process:
• Attend and minute Account Planning/Strategy ‘deep dive sessions’
• Work with the product partners to maximize cross-sell and returns on risk weighted assets.
• Ensure all relevant client team members/internal stakeholders have been appropriately engaged by the Banker with respect to the planning and communication of the relevant approved strategy for each client
• In partnership with product partners of complex and structured transactions. Review client profitability data for clients and discuss opportunities/concerns with Senior Banker.
• Participate in conversations with clients to understand their needs and discuss the base account strategy and related opportunities, transactions, pricing issues, etc.
• Understand and be able to articulate the overall strategy for each client
• Vigilant monitoring of client performance with a deep understanding of the client’s overall industry business, performance and outlook.
• Proactive engagement and management of internal deal teams (all relevant product and functional partners) for complex transactions. Ensure all sensitive deal information is managed and treated confidentially
• Drive product and geography cross sell with clients
• Prompt logging of client calls into CRMx (within 3 Days of the client meeting) and updating the deal pipeline. Ensure client team activities required to accelerate deal conversion are followed up with the relevant internal stakeholders and with clients.
Risk Management
• Actively undertake tail management of client base to ensure that clients remain on strategy and relevant. Otherwise, initiate exit process to manage out the client
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures.

Qualifications
• Education Bachelor
• Certifications CFA or CPA is preferred, but not mandatory
