Key Responsibilities
Risk & ICT Oversight
- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure timely changes.
- Lead ICT risk reporting to management and committees.
- Oversee ongoing ICT and cyber risk assessments with First Line of Defence.
- Review ICT and outsourcing proposals, changes, and risks.
- Ensure first-line controls comply with local and EU rules.
- Track ICS risks and remediation to completion.
- Support business continuity planning and testing.
Third Party & Operational Risk Leadership
- Provide second-line oversight for Third Party Risk Management.
- Engage with first-line teams to strengthen TPR.
- Review third-party risk controls and escalate issues.
- Promote a positive risk culture and high conduct standards.
Governance & Strategy
- Embed the Operational Risk Framework in business processes.
- Assess processes for accurate risk ratings and controls.
- Chair and join governance committees, ensuring risk roles.
- Report material risks aligned with appetite and regulations.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Maintain relationships with Luxembourg and European regulators.
- Role model values, ethics, and Code of Conduct.
- Ensure compliance with laws, standards, and policies.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong expertise in ICT, cyber, and operational risk management.
- Knowledge of DORA, ICT risk frameworks, and Third Party Risk Management.
- Understanding of technology, cybersecurity, and regulatory risk landscapes.
- Experience working with Luxembourg and EU regulators.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across teams and regions.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Highly organised with strong project and programme management capabilities.
- Fluent in English; French or German highly advantageous.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Information Security, Risk, or related field.
- Industry certifications preferred (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, C-CISO).
- Proven background in banking, audit, consulting, or similar risk-focused environments.
