RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Define and execute the technology roadmap for SCPAY, aligned with business and ITO strategy.
- Lead delivery of global payments and clearing initiatives, including new capabilities, enhancements, and regulatory changes.
- Ensure solutions align with modern architecture, scalability, stability, and performance standards.
Business
- Work closely with Payments Business teams to translate investment decisions into design, development, implementation, and handover to operations.
- Balance time, cost, quality, and risk while delivering measurable business value.Support commercialization, client experience improvements, defect resolution, and continuous system improvements.
Processes
Responsible for the end-to-end deliveries of the technology portfolio comprising key business product areas such as Payments & Clearing. Own technology delivery of projects and programs across global SCB markets that
- develop/enhance core product capabilities
- ensure compliance to Regulatory mandates
- support operational improvements, process efficiencies and zero touch agenda
- build payments platform to align with latest technology & architecture trends, improved stability and scale
People & Talent (Non-People Manager Scope)
- Contribute to building a high-performing technology culture.
- Support capability building, learning, and knowledge sharing.
Risk, Governance & Conduct
- Ensure adherence to risk management, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify and remediate technology risks.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Demonstrate strong conduct aligned with Group Values and Code of Conduct.

Our Ideal Candidates Should Have:-
Proven experience analysing end-to-end payment flows across card schemes, ACH, SWIFT, or real-time payment rails. Strong ability to elicit, document, and validate business requirements through use cases, process maps, and user stories. Proficient in SQL and data analysis tools to interrogate transaction data, identify trends, and support root-cause investigations. Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of bridging technical teams and business owners to deliver compliant, scalable payment solutions.
