Job Summary
• New role to support the development of service pricing framework, developing processes to enable traceability of Tech Cost in the event separability (requirements for Phoenix & Mitto).
• Extension of Cost Simplification efforts breaking down Tech costs to sub products to enable compliance. Key faceoff with Tax, Tech & Service Mgmt Office
Key Responsibilities
Business
• Provide support to Tech CFO & Head of Tech Service Pricing developing framework, systems & process to ensure cost transparency meeting the requirements of separability for Bank-wide Technology costs. Partnership with program office to ensure a future ready target state.
Processes
Performance Management and Decision Support
• Support the establishment of Service Pricing for the Technology Function in line with the strategic agenda of Technology. .
• Establish a framework to manage end to end recharges, including Tech Services & passthroughs for end user services, providing end to end cost transparency in line with key regulatory requirements to enable separability. Lead the engagement with Tax & Technical Accounting to ensure compliance with reporting requirements in the target state.
• Support the framework to enable unit-based pricing for technology, developing unit rates and enabling dynamic demand forecasting. Create flexible pricing structures to support new product launches, bundles or service innovations.
• Thorough understanding of the underlying cost drivers and conduct regular deep dives to identify and validate cost opportunities. Implement insightful and predictive analysis to provide enhanced financial transparency and understanding of the cost base.
• Support development requirements for PAPM to establish Bill of IT & maintain pricing tools & reporting for Technology Service Owners to enable compliance with regulatory framework of Phoenix & Mitto.
Financial Control
• Maintain appropriate policies and procedures which govern Service Pricing to ensure that the cost budgets are rigorously adhered to.
• Management of cost processes relating to the Technology Service Pricing, including cost recharges and accounting treatment. Support improvements to the Tech recharge framework, moving to consumption base / unit cost model and enabling it to drive the right behaviours and management actions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and management reporting and policies.

• Provide coaching and mentoring to offshore team, building out team’s capability and fostering a business partnership mindset.
• Lead by example, develop and embed a high-performance culture with specific focus on capability, effectiveness, and productivity.
Risk Management
• Ability to interpret the firm’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
• Ensure compliance with Group Accounting Principles and practices, Financial Control policy, and other regulatory accounting guidelines.

• Have an awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Qualifications
• 12+ years in finance, specializing in Tech Finance
• Preferably Qualified Accountant (CPA, CMA, ACCA)
• Proven track record in driving cost efficiencies in technology and financial control
• Strong FP&A, analytical, and lateral thinking skills
• Knowledge of technology and operations recharge models, and familiarity with the bank’s financial systems and control frameworks
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen, decision-making capability, integrity, and accountability
• Collaborative team player, inquisitive self-starter with a ‘can-do’ mindset
• Ability to multi-task, handle changing priorities, and manage multiple projects
