The Senior Manager, Risk Portfolio Analytics will support the application, implementation and ongoing use of Management Stress Testing models and analytics for Credit Risk across Corporate and Institutional Banking Portfolio. The role combines hands on analysis, model implementation and UAT, model monitoring, and management reporting, with modelling activities focused on enhancement, testing and interpretation rather than primary model ownership.

This is a delivery focused, non people manager role, suited to candidates with strong technical grounding who can operate effectively in a controlled, multi stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

Stress Testing and Modelling
•    Apply and enhance existing management stress testing models to support stressed financials, credit metrics, RWA and ECL analysis.
•    Support targeted model enhancements, testing and documentation rather than end‑to‑end model ownership.
•    Perform analytical validation, sensitivity analysis and plausibility checks on model outputs.

Model Implementation and UAT
•    Support implementation of stress testing models and analytics into Risk stress testing platforms.
•    Execute and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation, result validation, issue identification and remediation tracking.
•    Work closely with Technology, Change and Data teams to support productionisation and BAU transition of models and reporting.

Model Monitoring and Ongoing Analytics
•    Perform ongoing model monitoring, including stability analysis, outcome review and investigation of key movements.
•    Support periodic reviews of stress testing outputs to ensure consistency, transparency and interpretability.
•    Develop analytical views to support trend analysis, scenario comparison and portfolio insights.

Reporting and Management Insight
•    Support preparation of management, committee and working group materials, clearly explaining stress testing results, drivers and limitations.
•    Produce concise, structured analysis suitable for senior risk stakeholders.
•    Respond to ad hoc analytical and reporting requests related to stress testing and portfolio risk.

Stakeholder Engagement
•    Work closely with Credit Officers, Scenario Design, Modelling, Model Validation, Finance, Data and Technology teams.
•    Support effective issue resolution through clear analysis, structured communication and timely delivery.
•    Contribute to a collaborative, delivery oriented team environment.

Risk, Data and Governance
•    Identify and investigate data quality issues impacting stress testing outputs and coordinate remediation with data owners.
•    Ensure modelling, analytics and reporting activities comply with Group policies, modelling standards and governance requirements.
•    Maintain clear documentation for models, UAT, monitoring and analytics activities.

Conduct and Values
•    Demonstrate exemplary conduct and act in accordance with the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
•    Take personal responsibility for managing risk, conduct and compliance matters, including timely escalation where required.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

•    Experience working with stress testing outputs, RWA and/or ECL concepts.
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain complex results clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
•    Strong skills in Python, SQL and Excel for analytical work.
•    Experience operating in a highly controlled reporting or regulatory environment.
•    Strong self starter with the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and contribute across analytics, UAT/implementation and reporting in a demanding delivery environment.
