Job Summary
• To monitor and process lifecycle activities and Corporate Actions for the US Secondary Loans Business
• Apply a strong understanding of corporate loans, the secondary loan market, and broader capital markets where relevant.
• Process all loan servicing activities in LoanIQ on a timely and accurate manner, including full reconciliation of cashflows, acting as the first line of defence.
• Monitor, review, and process corporate actions related to US Secondary Loans Business (e.g., amendments, waivers, restructurings, prepayments, refinancings).
• Leverage expertise in cash reconciliations with strong working knowledge of TLM to support daily operations and control activities.
• Proactively identify, remediate, and escalate issues, working with stakeholders to enhance the risk framework and strengthen controls.
• Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and regulatory risks, ensuring full adherence to internal policies and procedures.
• Build a strong understanding of systems, workflows, and the control framework to support robust and efficient operations.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, sound risk judgement, and high-quality execution.
• Support the smooth operation of controls and provide effective support to front office and other business partners.
• Create and deliver MIS, reporting, and business insights related to US secondary loan trades.
• Drive and support automation initiatives to improve existing control frameworks and reduce manual touchpoints.
• Ensure a positive impact on clients through accurate processing, low error rates, and timely issue resolution.

• Define and execute the operational strategy for US secondary loans and related corporate actions, aligning processes, capacity, and controls with the overall business strategy, growth agenda, and productivity objectives.

• Support the loans trading and lending businesses by delivering reliable, timely, and accurate trade lifecycle and corporate action processing, acting as a trusted partner to Front Office and other stakeholders to enable sustainable revenue growth.

• Own and continuously improve end-to-end processes for US secondary loan lifecycle activities and corporate actions, driving standardisation, automation, efficiency, and strong controls across trade capture, settlement, events, and reconciliations. Risk Management
• Embed a robust risk and control framework across all activities, ensuring adherence to operational risk policies, regulatory requirements, and internal standards, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and promptly addressing incidents and audit findings.
Governance
• Ensure effective governance over US secondary loans and corporate actions operations by maintaining clear procedures, MI, and reporting, participating in relevant committees and forums, and providing transparent oversight, challenge, and escalation on key issues.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Accounting Or Related Discipline
- Relevant 6-8 yrs of work experience in Loan Operations
- Certifications: Professional Certifications In Operations, Risk, Or Loan Markets Are An Advantage.
- Shift timings : Only Night Shifts ( US Coverage)
