Job Summary
The role holder is responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of Business Analytics, Campaign Management, Lead Generation, Client Segmentation, Customer Lifecycle Engagement, Portfolio Insights, Data Strategy, CVP Implementation, Profitability Analysis, Predictive Modelling, Lifting Conversions and Productivity, etc.
Strategy
• Plan effective Data and Analytics strategy for Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB)
• Support business with timely and quality predictive, descriptive, prescriptive and diagnostic analytics for sound decision making
• Implement advanced data tools in the management and use of data in country
• Develop and work with Group in creating tools / applications to gain operational efficiency, improved client service and experience
• Align country data strategy with global data transformation and analytics projects both in short term and long term
• Liaise with group teams on rollouts of data and performance related processes, initiatives, and information requests.
• Assist in the delivery of the management agenda through MIs, insights and product /portfolio analysis
• Work with finance in developing profitability and impact analysis of key initiatives and business decision alternatives
• Create a client centric product which justifies CVPs with client preferences and profitability to optimize value to both bank and client
• Ensure rollout of key transformation initiatives and projects
• Lookout for business opportunities to maximise revenue and balances and save costs
• Customer segmentation to map client needs and customer journeys to make the best offers
• Apply propensity models in all lead generation activities focussing on top decile clients
• Support Group to implement Analytics tools and agenda in country
Key Responsibilities
Business
• Identify Business Opportunities through portfolio analysis and understanding Customer Behaviour at various stages of client lifecycle
• Develop statistical models and predictive analytics to place efforts on more likely clients to increase sales and balances, providing lift in conversion
• Track specific KPIs in sales and the scorecards, and support WRB MT in driving key numbers
• Appraise product, segments and distribution teams on campaign performance and ROI as applicable
• Track closure of leads and appraise channel performance. Work with CEMS team towards enhancement
• Analyse profitability, balances and risks to take actions on retaining / upgrading / tail managing clients and portfolio distribution on relationship managers
• Leverage on Historical Data through Analytics to increase Profitability
• Review portfolio to perform descriptive analytics to ensure portfolio heading towards the right direction
• Mine appropriate data for diagnostic and prescriptive analytics to prevent shortcomings and recommend corrective action points
• Transaction analytics to bring more clients to digital and guiding alliance to form more impactful partnerships
• Simulation testing to understand cost and impact on new / updated product / features based on existing portfolio direction
• Segment clients for test and learn campaigns before applying successful ones on a broader scale
• Develop and present insights, simulations and analysis for effective decision making
• Design and drive periodical / targeted customer campaigns to gain wallet share with more active clients throughout client journey
• Work with external data owners to develop models / generate external leads
• Develop and support development of tools for customer offering (S2S), CVP fulfilment, lead distribution and automating activities
• Publish periodical dashboards on product / portfolio for Product and Segment Heads
• Provide investigative support where needed

• Strictly Adhere to Retail Analytics Process and Portfolio MI and Reporting Process
Governance
• Ensure proper closure of all campaigns till fulfilment and post campaign analysis
• Ensure data governance and privacy management
• Ensure approvals in place for cross border / external data sharing

• Graduate, preferably with 10 years’ experience in Consumer Banking or roles
