Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    Support India Wealth and Retail Banking business via a mix of Standard and Adhoc management report.
•    Closely work with India Business Finance team to deliver on host of business finance support needs which includes Performance reporting, Forecasting and Budgeting, Flash Financials, MBRs, Product & Segment margin, performance analysis.
•    Provide insights into the Revenue and B/s growth and trends. Equip the Bank with necessary financials to support business decisions on an ongoing basis.
•    Mothend close related activities including encase workings, review of month end financials, coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth month end.
•    Support business with necessary investigation to deep dive into Financials and provide useful insights.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy 
•    Stakeholder management and escalation handling.
•    Continuously reviewing all processes in order to identify opportunities for process improvements.
•    Working with the other team leaders and across the Global Financial Service functions to ensure co-operation and smooth operations.
•    Continuous improvement in Productivity to drive the efficiencies in the team.
Business
•    Partner with senior leaders to drive and deliver on CPBB performance management reporting and analytics though high quality MI and stakeholder engagement
•    Finance Business Partner for the business/ functions with focus on improving & manage business financials. 
•    Support ALCO for capital and liquidity inputs and active balance sheet management for strategic planning
Processes
•    Driving process improvement, efficiency and resolving core business issues in the team.
•    Review various financial processes done by other GPO teams, ensure that the quality is not compromised  and be on top of all financial activities end to end -  Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting, Management reporting, Financial Analysis, Variance Analysis, Headcount reporting, Efficiency tracking, Accounting & Closing and other FP&A activities.
•    Work closely with Accounting, Standard Reporting, and Planning & Control Teams.
•    Understanding the financial processes end to end and quick in understanding the ad hoc requirements with ensuring quality and TAT of the output.
•    Upholding the Values of the Group and Company at all times.
•    Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations and Company and Group Policies.

People & Talent 
•    This role does not have any people Management responsibilities  
Risk Management
•    Build and maintain accuracy of Reports and Workings with necessary control to enable accuracy of numbers reported
Governance
•    Ensure compliance with Group / IFRS accounting principles and practices, Financial Control policy, and other regulatory accounting guidelines
•    Ensure the control Framework is maintained, improved & strengthened to maintain credibility of reported financials.

Skills and Experience

•    Financial Planning & Analysis

•    Experience in supporting revenue generating Business and experience in providing management reports and Decks

Qualifications

•    Chartered Accountant or MBA with 10+ years of relevant finance experience in FP&A.
•    Effective communication skills, including presenting and influencing senior management. 
•    Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset, coupled with a thorough understanding of business performance management outcomes
•    Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the Performance management process.
•    Sound knowledge on the flow of information between the Finance systems and ability to use the relevant logic to report the numbers.
•    Experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders. Ability to work independently, support and influence others in decision making.
•    Strong ability to understand financial statements and its drivers and synthesize them into meaningful analyses as required. Develop analysis & interpretations as required to facilitate management decision making.
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills; driven individual who can lead initiatives with proactive thinking
•    Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills
•    Solid people and project management skills.
