Job Summary
Senior Manager, Data Analysis is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, automation and maintenance of Management Information (MI), dashboards and analytics solutions for CPBB Collections and Risk reporting. The role supports management decision-making through accurate, timely and well-controlled reporting, actionable portfolio insights, dashboard delivery, process optimisation and compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and risk standards. The role requires strong hands-on technical capability and must have working knowledge of SAS, Python, SQL, Microsoft Excel, VBA/macros and related automation techniques.

• The mitigation of risk by providing accurate and timely information necessary to support management decisions.
• Protection of the Bank’s reputation; ability to meet legal and regulatory obligations; minimizing risk of Bank being used by money launderers.

Processes
• Responsible for end-to-end MI design, development, automation, maintenance and enhancement across CPBB Collections and Risk reporting.
• Translate business reporting requirements into scalable MI solutions, dashboards, data extracts and automated reporting processes.
• Manage the generation and delivery of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly CPBB risk and collections reports accurately and timely.
• Build, maintain and optimise data workflows using SAS, Python, SQL, Excel, VBA/macros and other approved tools.
• Ensure reports are delivered with adequate checks, reconciliations, version control and controls based on agreed definitions and past trends.
People & Talent
• Ensure necessary trainings are conducted for the team and required job knowledge is provided.
• Ensure quality processing and adherence to all key controls and checks.
• Responsible for handling all queries relating to the reports produced.
Risk Management
• Work closely with the country risk teams.
• Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations.
Governance
• Ensure proper documentation such as EUC, BIA, BCP, BID, Migration Checklists, SLAs, Recharge Documents, DOI and Change Templates is maintained appropriately.

Other Responsibilities
• Find actionable insights in portfolios using trend analysis, statistical techniques and other analytical methods.
• Design, develop and maintain robust MI dashboards, scorecards, trackers and reporting packs for Collections operations and portfolio monitoring.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of Collections Analytics dashboards and recurring MI deliverables.
• Enhance existing dashboards and develop new MI based on business, risk, governance and stakeholder requirements.
• Use SAS, Python, SQL, Excel and VBA/macros to automate manual reporting, improve data processing efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Initiate and support automation, process optimisation and reporting standardisation initiatives.
• Maintain and improve validation framework for error-free delivery of dashboards, extracts and MI packs.
• Support the team with ad hoc data needs, root cause analysis and deep-dive analytical requirements.
• Review and provide commentary on key Collections operations KPIs, trends, movements and exceptions.
• Complete applicable E-Learning modules, particularly AML E-Learning Course, Credit Practices, Basel 2 and Credit Bureau, as applicable.
• Protect the Bank’s reputation and ability to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Skills and Experience
• MI design, development, automation and maintenance
• Strong working knowledge of SAS, Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation and analytics
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, VBA/macros and reporting automation capability
• Dashboarding, visualisation and business performance reporting
• Data quality checks, reconciliations, controls and validation framework management
• Functional knowledge of Collections, Credit Risk and CPBB portfolio performance metrics
Qualifications
• Education: Graduate / Post Graduate
• Training: Technical knowledge of SAS, Python, SQL, Excel and VBA/macros etc.
