Job Description: 

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised, self-driven Project Manager / Business Manager to support the delivery of analytics, dashboard and transformation initiatives within CIB Operations.

 

This role is critical in driving execution discipline across complex, multi stakeholder initiatives. The role holder will own end to end project coordination, including stakeholder management, task tracking, documentation, governance support, and executive ready communications (presentations, updates, packs).

 

The role requires someone who can operate independently under ambiguity, bring structure to fast moving initiatives, and act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Support delivery of the Analytics & Insights agenda by translating priorities into clear project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
•    Bring structure, discipline, and clarity across multiple concurrent initiatives.
•    Act as a central coordination point to ensure alignment across business, analytics, technology, and governance stakeholders.

Business
•    Manage day‑to‑day project execution, ensuring commitments are tracked and delivered on time.
•    Proactively engage senior stakeholders to clarify requirements, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
•    Prepare high‑quality executive materials (PowerPoint decks, status updates, summaries) for senior management, forums, and committees.
•    Support ad‑hoc business requests related to analytics initiatives, dashboards, and performance management.

Processes
•    Own and maintain project artefacts, including: 
        •    Project plans and timelines
        •    RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
        •    Action trackers and decision logs
        •    Meeting minutes and follow ups
•    Drive regular project cadence (working sessions, checkpoints, governance updates). 
•    Ensure documentation is accurate, structured, and audit ready. 
•    Coordinate UAT, sign offs, and evidence where required for releases and communications.

People & Talent
•    Work closely with analysts, developers, designers, and business users to ensure smooth delivery.
•    Support onboarding and knowledge transfer for new team members and project resources.
•    Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and collaboration.

Risk Management
•    Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role remit
•    Proactively manage risks and establish/ monitor controls to improve the overall state of the risk management and operating framework
•    Ensure a clear and uniform approach towards implementation of the global operating model for all related processes and adherence to DOIs

Governance
•    Ensure, lead, and monitor strict adherence to regulatory requirements
•    Ensure strong due diligence on document safekeeping and data confidentiality
•    Ensure risks are clearly identified, quantified, and escalated
•    Ensure compliance with relevant internal & external policies and procedures, regulatory and statutory requirements

Regulatory & Business Conduct

Qualifications

•    8+ years’ experience in Project Management, Business Management, PMO, or delivery roles within banking or other large organisations.
•    Strong understanding of the analytics / data project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and scoping through build, UAT, sign‑off, release, and ongoing change.
•    Extensive experience operating in high‑stakeholder, matrix environments, including engagement with senior management and multiple delivery teams.
•    Strong governance, risk, and control knowledge, with hands‑on experience working within formal governance frameworks.
•    Demonstrated ability to set up, maintain, and enforce project management and documentation standards, including project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, decision logs, and evidence packs.
•    Excellent written and presentation skills, with proven experience producing senior‑ready PowerPoint decks, status updates, and executive summaries.
•    Proven experience delivering data, analytics, reporting, or dashboard initiatives, working across business, analytics, and technology teams is preferred.
•    Highly self‑driven, organised, and detail‑oriented, able to operate independently under ambiguity and manage multiple parallel workstreams.
