Job Summary
This role will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and implementing analytics-driven, customer-centric information systems and business solutions. Using state-of-the-art Big Data and AI (Machine Learning) techniques, the role involves developing descriptive, predictive, and optimization models. These efforts aim to enhance revenue generation, reduce customer churn, and improve operational efficiency, aligning with the requirements identified by internal business teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end performance tracking of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate analysis of effectiveness and ROI.
- Design and deploy sophisticated marketing analytics techniques including predictive modelling, segmentation, clustering, and pricing strategies to meet diverse business needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional business teams to uncover growth opportunities through customer activation, upgrades, cross-selling, deepening relationships, and retention across varying client segments.
- Translate business requirements into analytics solutions that are delivered within agreed timelines, driving lead generation and contributing to the achievement of Retail Clients P&L objectives.
- Develop and implement multi-factor campaign testing frameworks, examining response patterns to variations in product bundles, pricing strategies, risk parameters, creative content, and distribution channels.
- Identify and execute productivity improvements by increasing lead volume, boosting customer consumption, enhancing conversion rates, and maximising profitability per campaign.
- Ensure adherence to operational procedures that comply with the Bank’s global strategy, process standards, and risk management frameworks, embedding a robust control environment.
- Provide expert analytical coaching and training to team members to enhance overall team capability and foster continuous learning.
- Encourage and support team participation in high-impact projects to cultivate potential and enhance individual development.
- Build and maintain effective, collaborative partnerships across various functions and regional teams within the Group to support integrated business solutions.
- Build a reputation as a trusted, knowledgeable, and dependable member of the Country Retail Analytics team, driving initiatives with professionalism and integrity.
Skills and Experience
Technical Proficiencies and Analytical Skills:
Demonstrated experience with modern data mining and machine learning tools, including the application of customer scoring methods such as propensity models, campaign targeting analytics, and CRM optimisation techniques. Proficient in SQL Server, MS Visual Studio .Net, VBA, SAS, Excel, MS Access, and other relevant database and information management systems. Skilled in automating analytic processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Business Knowledge and Strategic Insight:
Strong comprehension of banking products and services including Deposits, Wealth Management, and Lending tailored to Personal, Priority, and Business Clients. Deep understanding of the drivers behind profitability and risk within the retail banking sector, coupled with the ability to exert thought leadership by creating, rationalising, and organising complex concepts and strategies.
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication capabilities, with proven ability to influence stakeholders and foster cross-functional collaboration. Demonstrated ownership and accountability for delivering measurable results, coupled with a customer-centric mindset focused on delivering solutions, excellent service, and relationship management. Dynamic leadership qualities as a change agent, characterised by innovation, passion, and the drive to steer transformational initiatives.

Qualifications
Relevant academic qualifications may include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in disciplines such as Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field. Professional certifications in analytics, machine learning, or database management (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, SAS certification, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) would be advantageous.
