Key Responsibilities
Origination
- In line with the Bank`s appetite, identify prospective customers and sell our products
- Take initiative in sales pitch and maintain the quality at a high level.
- Prepare and/or review the term sheets before delivering to clients.
Client on-boarding & deal execution
- Liaising with CA, product partners and GAM/FAM to a) analyze wallet size b) determine appropriateness of the product and c) develop a comprehensive account plan.
- Successfully negotiate and close out pricing & other deal dynamics with client
- Oversee the quality & turnaround of credit proposal and ensure quick delivery. Liaise with CA to resolve Credit queries.
Account Management & portfolio quality
- Along with the product partner, push for line utilization of complex and structured transactions. Oversee the ARM in ensuring high utilization of regular WC facilities.
- Review Failed Trade status, EAR, ASTAR CCRT, etc with CA to ensure disciplined and high quality portfolio
Others
- Review and monitor the client profitability to ensure no revenue leakages.
- Attend internal or external sales/non sales meetings such as EAR, CAT, MTM calls, Portfolio Review Meeting and convene the consortium meetings where we are the lead bank.
- Take overall responsibility for the credit quality of the assigned/acquired portfolio.
- Ensure compliance of all internal/regulatory policies & regulations including AML policy, CDD regulation, etc
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge and experience across multiple corporate banking products
- Data management skills
- Highly skilled in creation of briefing materials, report writing and preparation of presentations
- Language preference : Fluent in English and Korean.
Qualifications
- Degree (BA or equivalent)
- Experience in RM and/or Coverage sectors
- 10 years plus banking experience with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Origination
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to independently drive initiatives with minimum hands-on supervision
