As a Portfolio Analytics & Monitoring (PAM) Graduate, you’ll join our PAM team, working alongside our Global Banking team to manage risk, optimise returns, and ensure our lending portfolios remain strong, sustainable and resilient. You’ll be part of our wider Markets team, which helps internal stakeholders navigate complexity, seize opportunities, and manage risk across lending portfolio. From real estate financing and infrastructure financing to acquisition financing, we deliver bespoke solutions that power investment banking transactions. Financial Markets sits at the heart of our Corporate and Investment Banking business, connecting clients to the capital they need and the opportunities that drive growth.

What you’ll be doing
As a graduate in Portfolio Analytics & Monitoring, you’ll help manage the credit risk and performance of a lending portfolio of Global Banking clients.
You’ll work closely with relationship mangers and product partners to understand how each transaction works, assess risk, and ensure the Bank is making well-informed decisions.
This role gives you exposure to a wide range of real-world financing solutions, from commercial real estate and infrastructure projects to acquisition and transportation finance, giving you a front-row seat to see how complex deals are structured, originated, approved and monitored after completion.
You’ll also support credit decision-making by preparing credit papers, reviewing client performance, identifying potential risks early, and helping the Bank manage its portfolio in a responsible and sustainable way.
Responsibilities
- Analyse client financials and portfolio performance to understand risk and return
- Prepare and support credit approval documents for new and existing deals
- Monitor client performance, loan conditions, and emerging risks
- Support new deals by assessing risk and return alongside deal teams
- Help manage portfolio performance by identifying opportunities to reduce risk or optimise returns
- Work closely with relationship managers, product partners, and credit teams across the Bank
- Contribute to reporting, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory requirements.
