Title: Associated Director,TWC/ME Monitoring

Job Summary
This key role is to enhance risk monitoring, identification and mitigation from a centralized level within ME segment, by
1) oversighting ME portfolio, as well as ongoing management of all applicable TWC/SME account, with all key portfolio risk indicators to be well monitored and controlled, by closely working with risk, CRM and sales team.
2) living up to the most prudent principle of monitoring and control in relevance to ME Credit Policy and all the credit risk sub-types within the WRB Credit Risk Type Framework.
3), working closely with frontline business and CA to gain more awareness of potential risk and leading the EA monitoring as well as other monitoring activities through systematic data analysisto cultivate solid foundation of ME risk culture
4) supporting the following-up risk mitigates and account strategies from a view of ‘big picture’, as well as to protect the interest of the bank
5)providing daily training and sharing to enhance SME risk discipline & cultural
6) taking responsibility for risk-reward decisions based on judgment and expertise, to influence business and economic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Business:
• To understand and support ME strategy by uniting client coverage, credit risk, and other functional teams to drive the credit culture transformation from program lending model to corporate/judgemental lending model, helping to set up a risk-aware and client-focused environment for the ME segment’s future phase of growth.
• To Design controls, assess their effectiveness, and dynamically monitor risk with sufficient controls in position after discussion, while maintaining strong, effective relationships/engagement with stakeholders across all three lines of defence.
• Risk Insights& lesson-learnt sharing: Provide actionable credit risk insights to all business stakeholders, to help maintain their awareness of the broader business, economic, and market environment.
• To maintain up-to-date documentation for follow ups and audit trails if needed.
Governance& Regulatory
• To support the end-to-end lifecycle of audit, assurance, and regulatory reviews related to all accounts’ monitoring, including tracking and remediation.

Skills and Experience
Compliance & Control
• Ensure strict compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities by all staff.
• Contribute towards achieving and maintaining satisfactory audit rating.
• Contribute towards ensuring that the value stream is fit for growth and have effective controls framework.
• Fully understand the importance of fraud prevention, prevent fraud risks, maintain safe and steady operation of the position, implement regulatory requirements of fraud prevention, strictly execute DOIs of the department, ensure to complete relevant trainings and embed fraud prevention in daily work.”
• Fully understand the importance of consumer rights protection, prevent damage to consumer’s best interest, implement regulatory requirements related to consumer rights protection, ensure to complete relevant trainings and to always embed consumer rights protection mindset when performing daily work.”
• Failing to pass WRB essential for sales will be considered as assessment basis for job incompetency.
• Ensure that customer due diligence is properly carried out by RMs, and other anti - fraud checks.
• Manage the risk of the portfolio on an ongoing basis through proactive monitoring of customers, their transactions, and developments in the general business environment.

Qualifications
• Sound knowledge of SME/TWC products, services, procedures and regulations, equities markets, and unit trusts preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of operational risk management and reputational risk management.
• Excellent analytic, interpersonal and communication skills, ability to observe trend/highlights through data monitoring as well as deal with all levels of people, often in complex and difficult situations.
• Team player who shows initiative and assertiveness and good leadership qualities to motivate the team.
• Self-motivator who is keen to upgrade, improve personal knowledge and skills to meet job requirements.
• Good command of both spoken and written Mandarin and English.
• Strong business understanding, credit risk analysis and financial knowledge.
