Job Summary
Strategy
• Support and contribute to the Client Journey transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support business transformations.
• Revolutionise and/or drive adoption of new ways of working.
Business
• Establish and maintain a close working relationship with key stakeholders and business partners to ensure full engagement, facilitate an open and direct communication of issues, needs, queries, and value-added participation of Operations in meeting overall business goals and objectives.
• Support frontline for better Service and Product delivery.
Processes
• Detect error opportunities in the process and work out the action plan to avoid occurrence.
• Ensure the BAU process is fully in compliance with all relevant internal working DOI/procedure, Group policy and local regulation.
• Ensure all the regulatory reporting is submitted on time and the quality meets regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Support line manager to continue conducting the process migration, enhancement and new product/system launch.
• Initiate and deliver change management initiatives to ensure operational processes are robust in supporting regulatory and business requirements.
• GBS BAU process monitoring and quality insurance.
Risk Management
• Adherence to laws and regulations, internal risk and compliance policies (including anti-money laundry, sanction, anti-bribery & corruption and relevant FCC risks).
• Comply with the appropriate control and assurance mechanism to comply with all internal and external standards and policies.
• Understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Groups policies, procedures and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
• Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements on individual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as SCB internal policies.
Governance
• Responsible for assessing and implementing effective governance according to group and country framework, oversight and controls in the operations and oversee changes in own areas; Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group and business operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role;
• Ensure proper governance on data, systems, GBS and third parties as the business, operation and domain owner in accordance to regulations and bank policies.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
