Product Management and Development
- Create a market and client feedback loop to ensure that buyer behaviour is well understood and appropriate enhancements made to products and services.
- Remain up-to-date on the competitive environment with a clear view of external capabilities benchmarking and respond to the consequent opportunities or threats identified.
- Provide training and education of overall trade products across the bank and participate specific project team including both internal and external ones to ensure market leadership and implication.
Commercialization
- Understand the needs of customers and prospects, and implement structures and solutions to meet these needs ensuring delivery of Trade.
- Provide ongoing support and training to Trade Sales, CMs, & RMs to provide assistance to facilitate the closure of large or complex deals.
- For the trade products assigned, improve processes for better customer experience resulting in growth in trade revenue in line with the CAs and PPG.
- Ensure all assigned product initiatives are closed within the agreed timeline.
Processes*
Risk Management*
- Identify and mitigate the Operational, Credit, Regulatory and Business conduct risks relating to Trade.
- Work with operations to improve overall service standards and to ensure that quality of service to customers remains superior to competition
- Ensure timely renewal of country addendums (CAs) and proactively work with stakeholders to identify and quantify new and existing risks.
Accountable for financial and non-financial risks arising from Trade product within China Trade & Working Capital Loan as product owner within the product management discipline, to execute independent risk management roles and responsibilities under the bank’s Enterprise Risk Management framework as delegated from the business product owner in this JD.
