Job Summary
• Support CPBB Head and Head of Business Banking to determine and prioritize business strategies and support key strategic programmes & initiatives to ensure key actions are being captured, tracked and completed.
• Coordinate internal resources and work closely with other business segments to monitor full team’s commercial results, contribute to internal cross-team projects to standardize and improve banking processes and systems.
Sales & Performance Management
• Provide management direction to frontline team related to sales management initiatives including pipeline management and business planning, activity and productivity improvement, HC optimization, sales incentives, sales campaigns.
• Support senior management to produce timeline reporting and key business performance statistics to facilitate management decision.
Training & People Development
• Develop staff training and people development program to upgrade frontline capabilities and staff engagement, including but not limited to routine staff training, Elite Club, Career Progression etc.
Branch Service & Optimization
• Drive strategic planning of BB Client Portfolio and Branch Projects including but not limited to management structure, geographical expansion plan, infrastructure, business focus, etc.
• Provide efficient, reliable, responsive and professional operations support to front-line and service team to ensure high class services to customer and operation excellence in term of execution accuracy, timeliness and effectiveness.
• Provide full support to front-line sales & service team for internal audits, regulatory on-site or offsite inspections and regular or ad hoc self-assessment, retrieving documents/information required, preparing management reports, tracking audit issues, CST findings and ensure management actions are completed within due date.
• Lead end to end management of proximity service at central level including vendor mgt, settlement, group and country KPI/project deliverables, DOI update to meet group GPS/country standard if any

• Perform professionally as a team player to lead, co-work, or support in all SME Banking related initiatives.
• Enhance & multiply the quality & depth of direct reports in SME Banking family.
• Drive performance through clear objectives via scorecards, KPIs
• Identify current and future employee development needs (skills, training, behaviour, coaching, and career path)
• Identify and recruit new staff based on the staff planning with supports from local HR and HR business partner
Other Responsibilities
• Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements on individual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as SCB internal policies
• Effectively ensure and intensify internal controls by keeping abreast with developments of applicable local laws and regulations on accountabilities.
• Perform job duties with diligence, contribute to efforts as an individual or as a team member so as to avoid any actual or potential legal sanctions, regulatory penalties, material financial loss, or adverse reputational impact on the Bank.
• Be responsible for failure to follow relevant rules and processes, failure to properly perform the responsibilities, and implement corrections.
• Cooperate with any investigations or reviews on regulatory failure such as accountability review

Qualifications
• A university degree with 5 year or above related corporation operations experiences for normal member and 8 years or above for team leader
• Sound knowledge of bank products, services, procedures and regulations, equities markets, unit trusts and other SME banking product & services.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experiences of sales management , portfolio management, strategy planning.
• In-depth knowledge of operational risk management and reputational risk management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with all levels of people, often in complex and difficult situations.
• Team player who shows initiative and assertiveness and good leadership qualities to motivate the team.
• Self-motivator who is keen to upgrade, improve personal knowledge and skills to meet job requirements.
• Good command of both spoken and written Mandarin and English.
• Considerable experience in running projects (with PMP/Agile or other relevant certification preferably)
• Ability to conduct stakeholder’s meeting, workshop, gathering of user requirements for system development & enhancements, perform UAT etc.
