Job Summary
Ensure adequate resource for digital partnership management, better ongoing oversight for partners’ collection performance and compliance.
Ensure that the operation of digital partners complies with the group and local compliance requirements, ensure that operational capacity, efficiency, and quality meet the requirements of SCB project, form sustainable and competitive performance, and maintain a good cooperative relationship.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
1. Follow up on collection due diligence for the potential new partners launch including collection strategy.
2. Refresh collection strategy documents for digital partners.
Business
1. Ensure the operation meets the policy requirements via ongoing oversight/monitoring.
2. Maintain relationship with partners and other relevant stakeholders to make communication smoothly.
Processes
1. Cooperate with other stakeholders to complete BAU management of all existing partners.
2. Monitor relevant collection indicators, detect problems in time and find the root cause.
People and Talent
1. Oversee career development plans of key resources; To assure robust succession planning and adequate bench-strength for key positions.
2. To ensure capacity is managed in accordance with defined standards maintaining an active training and learning collections environment to ensure excellence in Collection Management.
Risk Management
1. Provide oversight on digital partners of all collection process risk activities.
Governance*
1. Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements onindividual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as SCB internal policies.
2. Effectively ensure and intensify internal controls by keeping abreast with developments of applicable local laws and regulations on accountabilities.
3. Perform job duties with diligence, contribute to efforts as an individual or as a team member so as to avoid any actual or potential legal sanctions, regulatory penalties, material financial loss, or adverse reputational impact on the Bank.
4. Be responsible for failure to follow relevant rules and processes, failure to properly perform the responsibilities, and implement corrections.
5. Cooperate with any investigations or reviews on regulatory failure such as accountability review.
