Job Summary
The job holder will be a members of Custody Operations and carries out the end-to-end operational responsibilities in China, perform/conduct daily operations according to Departmental Operating Instruction and deliver services to clients according to agreed service level, who expects to work closely with the other Operations Leads, business, Client Solution team, client Implementation team, Product Manager, sales and risk control, ensure the process in compliance with Group policy and local regulations, contribute in achieving Security Service Operations delivery and service efficiency
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business
1. Work closely with team lead and team members to manage day-to-day operation within Custody and Clearing Operations framework, especially focus on reg reporting delivery and/or Regulatory requirements’ implementation new business initiative
2. Network internally with colleagues, hub operations colleagues and customers to solve issues and improve efficiency
3. Be able to escalate exceptional request for decision and resolution.
4. Be able to support projects as Custody and Clearing Operations concerns. Monitor the overall implementation of products change/business agenda with support from other SME, if necessary. Assistant to make critical decision after balancing all factors
5. Be an expert on China regulatory/business environment

1. Process and ensure the accuracy of reporting to clients and regulators
2. Process and ensure the accuracy of daily risk override to meet regulatory requirements

3. Escalate risk issues for immediate resolution and closure.

2. Accountable for implementing and complying with AML requirements when performing duties.

1. Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements on individual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as SCB internal policies.
2. Effectively ensure and intensify internal controls by keeping abreast with developments of applicable local laws and regulations on accountabilities.
