Job Summary

The role account for being responsible to design, manage and implement end-to-end related Wealth Solution (i.e. WS) policies, processes to ensure that relevant policies, procedure, and standards are effectively implemented across Wealth Products and ensure effectiveness control design and governance oversights and assurance of processes and frameworks for robust compliance, as well as take the ownership to lead and drive the WS governance across product lines, in which may need the role also to lead and oversee WS ops related platform in line with WS digitization journey and initiatives delivery and ensuring the effectiveness of related project delivery in a coherent and seamless way and the consistency of functionality and control design across the platforms including offline sales channels, that with related project post implementation review can ensure the effectiveness of functionality and control design being accordance with internal and external standard as well as should manage associate incident risk assessment if applicable that can always put a robust compliance and control against internal and external requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Achieve and deliver Group WS COO, and WS China Head in delivering strategy and outcomes on standard metrics/scorecard. 
•    Drive transformation of WS Ops to align with WRB Client Journeys in the market. Oversee the innovation and continuous improvement projects relating to WS ops and be responsible for outcomes with related business stakeholders and 2nd lines. 
•    Develop and sustain a product sales compliance culture (review sales and services processes in country to ensure flawless execution and compliance, develop effective communication and supervise training to promote risk awareness and compliance culture, ensure gaps are identified and addressed, collaborate with other support functions to ensure a coherent, seamless delivery and strong governance)
•    Engage key stakeholders and within the broader WRB business to ensure alignment across governance/control/conduct agendas for WS and broader businesses.

Processes
•    Independently design, manage and implement end-to-end policies and processes to ensure that relevant policies, procedure and standards are effectively implemented across Wealth Products by working with WS process owners and related stakeholders.
•    Drive and deliver WS products sales process simplification and Project implementation by working with WS process owners and related stakeholders.

Risk Management
•    Reinforce the risk management, conduct and governance discipline, and driving alignment/streamlining of key sales and operation processes by by working with WS process owners and related stakeholders.
•    Support the WS Head to deliver the business priorities through continuously improving on process productivity and efficiency, meeting regulatory and internal policy requirements and driving a standardization agenda for the business as well as representation at the relevant risk/conduct/governance committees and forums by working with WS process owners and related stakeholders.
•    Translate strategy, policy, themes, into actionable plans which are realistic within WS business and regulatory context.  See plans through the execution phase by working with WS process owners and related stakeholders.

•    Establish and implement a stable and reliable world class operating sales platform and control environment by working with WS process owners, WRB BRM and related stakeholders.
•    By working with WS process owners and related stakeholders, oversee Implementation of risk management, working with WRB BRM/related risk function team to guide business risk management to ensure full implementation of ORF across the business unit. Ensure execution of the first line self-assessment model, report on and analyse operational risks profile. Track and follow through management actions to mitigate identified operational risks exposure.
•    Actively manage and remediate any breaches and deviations from global / local standards by working with WS process owners, WRB BRM and related stakeholders
•    Ensure full reporting of losses, risk events, policy deviations, KCST & KRI exception, and engage appropriate stakeholders on timely remedial actions; escalate key risk situations that pose significant risks by working with WS process owners, WRB BRM and related stakeholders.
•    Identify new, thematic, and developing risks; provide operational risk advice through various reviews including but not limited to accountability reviews, Lessons Learnt reviews, Process / Control reviews, Peer review) at the unit level by working with WS process owners, WRB BRM and related stakeholders.
•    Proactively identify key risks through Country Conduct Plan and Conduct Heatmap where application by working with related conduct team, WS/related process owner. 

Governance
•    Ensure Satisfactory Audit Outcomes by working with WS process owners and related stakeholders. 
•    Ensure compliance with the highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance standards as defined by internal and external requirements as well as ensure that identified risks are subject to appropriate remedial action, escalated to the relevant senior committee if required and followed through to closure by working with WS process owners, WRB BRM and related stakeholders.
•    Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment across governance / control / conduct agendas for WS more broadly. 
•    Taking responsibility for data management framework implementation quality in function by working with WS process owners to manages data quality improvement project and new data elements collection from product/ other biz & regulatory requirements, and accountable for functional data leverage in business revenue driven/ risk monitoring/ processing automation
