Title: Senior Wealth Planner

Job Summary
The job holder will be responsible for sharpening Priority Private customer value propositions especially in legacy planning to fulfill HNW clients’ needs for wealth transfer and succession planning.
Strategy
- Support segment team on Affluent, especially Priority Private CVP planning and onboarding.
- Enhance and refine the wealth financial planning model to meet client’s financial needs, especially legacy planning needs
Business
- Deliver customer seminar to raise client awareness of legacy planning
- Conduct RM training, coaching and deep dive to equip RM with sophisticated knowledge on financial planning
- Partner with Relationship Manager in deepening and growing client relationships through identifying client’s needs and presenting relevant wealth solutions and technical analysis to clients.
- Offer clients diversified solutions that meet their needs and risk profile
- Support distribution team to roll out family trust referral and consultancy service
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise by working closely with internal and external product providers and partners
Processes
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute end to end process of family trust referral and consultancy service, including but not limited to referral form sign off, family trust account set up, investment instruction hand over and ongoing maintenance.

- Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements on individual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as SCB internal policies
- Effectively ensure and intensify internal controls by keeping abreast with developments of applicable local laws and regulations on accountabilities;
Skills and Experience
Functional
• Leadership in navigating segment strategy and shaping customer value proposition.
• Strategic articulation and solid execution
• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Retail Banking business, including customer segments and product development
• Proficiency in development of integrated customer strategy and value proposition, as well as marketing strategy
• Ability to design new offers and innovative solutions to gain competitive advantages against market players/ to solve business pain points
Personal
• 10+ years of working experience in banking/insurance/financial services institutions
• Strategic acumen backed by execution capability
• Relationship building across internal and external stakeholders to drive business results
