Job Summary

Strategy*

  • Maintain and execute collection policies and procedures. 
  • People management through leadership, training, coaching and staff development to ensure there are sufficient proper resources to underpin the day-to-day operation of the team and stabilize attrition rate.
  • Design, execute and on-going review collection strategies to achieve respective collection results.
  • Maintain good relationship and coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure the credit cycle can be operated smoothly for an optimal balance of risk and reward.
  • Monitor closely the performance of the field collection team to minimize credit losses and maximize recoveries.  

Business*

  • Assist on making optimal use of all collection tools and using analytical and data segmentation to enhance collection efficiency.
  • Make a deep analysis on most delinquent accounts, find out the reason and create the resolution for collectors on timely basis.
  • Timely provide solution to customer to reduce his/her financial difficulty (waiver/settlement).
  • Execute and ensure adequate and accurate collections performance & KPIs are in place and prepared in a timely manner, to facilitate performance management of the Collections Department.
  • To ensure effective utilization of resources with objectives of minimizing credit losses, maximizing recovery and managing costs.
  • Field visit. By collaborating with the tele team, necessary external visits were conducted on 30+DPD cases to obtain effective repayment (plans) from customers.
  • Docking with business RM. Through closer integration, linkage, communication, and feedback with RM, effectively improve the collection effectiveness of RM collaboration and deeply participate in supporting RM performance.
  • Participate in the design and manage of the field collector performance scheme, and maintain synergy with Strategy & Governance team

Processes*

  • Deliver on Loan Impairment target for the year. Build up checking and control process in all of Collection operation model to make sure no gap with local regulation and policy compliance.
  • Conduct site visit to customer in timely basis and provide suitable solution (Including DRP/Settlement) / early action decision based on the deep dive/ SV result.
  • Accountable on AML: Accountable for implementing and complying with AML requirements when performing duties.
  • Fraud Prevention Alertness: Fully understand the importance of fraud prevention, prevent fraud risks, maintain safe and steady operation of the position, implement regulatory requirements of fraud prevention, strictly execute DOIs of the department, ensure to complete relevant trainings
