Title: Senior Manager, GBA Client Analytics & Performance Management

Job Summary
Responsibilities for this finance role cover managing financial performance and underlying drivers of growth for GBA both onshore CN and Hong Kong.
Strategy*
- The candidate should have thorough awareness and understanding of the GBA and overall both WRB CN and HK business strategy, and be able to help execute this to specific strategic segment
- This includes:
- Partner with GBA business stakeholders, CN and HK finance team in implementation of agreed strategy across markets
- Actively report, review and analyse progress against set strategic targets.
- Alignment of this strategy and related financial impact, execution with key finance colleagues and business partners
Key Responsibilities
Business Planning and Analysis*
• Advice GBA stakeholders on financial performance across revenue and cost, profitability, returns and highlighting areas of opportunity and early warnings of the challenges ahead
• Track financial and non-financial performance and momentum regularly
• Develop and implement financial and non-financial value drivers and regular measurement & analysis
• Conduct client segment deep dives to identify opportunities to improve income and returns; utilise these insights to modify or formulate new strategies with business stakeholders and finance partners
• Lead strategic multiyear planning process aligned with strategic priorities
• Partner with business and finance teams in markets to execute plans to improve market share including tactical and strategic actions
• Contribute to performance reporting and analysis for GBA business review
• Effectively manage and analyse costs, and lead appropriate prioritisation decisions to achieve cost efficiencies
Processes*
1. Review and ownership of GBA flash, outlook, forecasting and monthly performance for the business
2. Smooth and efficient corporate plan process and other internal finance processes
3. Regular report and tracking financials and non-financial value drivers in coordination with analytics team and both onshore CN and HK finance teams.
Risk Management*
1. Ensure appropriate frameworks in place to guarantee that business in carried out within the group’s risk appetite and relevant risk are managed in conjunction with management, direct reports and other stakeholders.
2. Ensure cross border initiatives etc are fully compliant with regulatory requirements and country engagement rules.
3. Ensure team compliance with the highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance standards and practises as defined by internal and external requirements.
4. Abide by the Group’s values and code of conduct and foster a robust culture to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees.

Qualifications
- At least 8 years relevant experience in finance at a leading global financial services firm, preferably banking.
- University / College degree as minimum, Qualified Accountant i.e., CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent, or MBA (Finance) or other relevant qualification is preferred
- Good English speaking as well as in writing, and excellent communication skills to effectively manage varied stakeholders
- Highly motivated and driven by number, strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate leadership/collaboration attributes with track record of business partnering.
- Proven problem solver using quantitative techniques, strong analytical skills with ability to develop proof of concept frameworks and business cases
- Strong understanding and/ or previous experience in consumer banking, wealth management or SME/ commercial banking is preferred, with sense of risk and compliance in financial industry
