JOB SUMMARY
We’re seeking a forward-thinking and connected individual to join our Data & AI team in a newly created role focused on AI Advocacy & Alliances. This role is central to strengthening our institutional voice in AI, forging influential partnerships, and embedding AI more visibly into our internal and external narratives
Reporting into the AI leadership team/Global Head of AI Enablement and working closely with stakeholders across the bank’s WRB, CIB, CABM, Strategy and innovation teams, this role will serve as a bridge between our AI ambition and the ecosystems that shape its future — including think tanks, academic bodies, industry alliances, and public forums.

AI will shape the future of financial services, but voice, visibility, and credibility will define the leaders. This role is at the heart of ensuring our bank not only participates in the AI conversation — but helps shape it.

•    Lead and execute the global communications strategy for AI across the Bank.
•    Shape and tell the story of our AI ambition in collaboration with senior business leaders, businesses and function partners.
•    Develop compelling internal and external narratives that bring our AI vision to life and align with our broader corporate narrative.
•    Identify high-impact speaking opportunities, awards, forums and publications that can elevate the visibility of our AI leadership.
•    Track and measure impact of communication activities and refine strategies based on data and feedback.
•    Stay current on AI trends, risks and regulatory developments to ensure relevance and responsiveness in communications.

•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
•    Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles NA

  • Develop compelling internal and external narratives that bring our AI vision to life and align with our broader corporate narrative.
  • Identify high-impact speaking opportunities, awards, forums and publications that can elevate the visibility of our AI leadership.
  • Track and measure impact of communication activities and refine strategies based on data and feedback.
  • Stay current on AI trends, risks and regulatory developments to ensure relevance and responsiveness in communications.
