JOB SUMMARY

- The role is a front office role responsible for supporting the continued development of systems for trading in Markets products to further the implementation of the CIB Platforms & Partnerships Markets strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- The Markets business aims to become the leading EM fixed income, financing, and securities services franchise; a leader in sustainable finance, advisory, trading and asset servicing, while maximising Group RoTE in a risk-adjusted manner. The business will achieve this through expanding product capabilities, increasing its relevance to clients, building on existing strength in footprint markets, developing talent and transform its way of working through technology
- The key responsibility of the role is to support the execution of the CIB Platforms & Partnerships Markets strategies in the ongoing development of such Markets systems as instructed and working together with partners in Trading, Sales, TTO, MAG and other second-line / support functions to deliver them.
Business
- Collect and specify requirements across businesses
- Operate as an interface between IT teams, MAG and the business
- Own the book of work for instructed areas, including their prioritisation and benefits as delegated by Head, Macro Product Management & Data Analytics.

- Ensure that the business meets its obligations the prevention of money laundering under the Group Policy and Standards and under local laws and regulations.

- Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group. Also, an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them
- Embed Operational Risk monitoring as an integral part of the business process. Towards this, to effectively carry out the assigned role, if any, under Compliance Risk Management and Operational Risk Management Assurance
Governance
- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
- Willingness to ‘speak up’ in the event of any realised or perceived breach of group conduct rules or laws by colleagues
- Willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.

Our Ideal Candidate
o 2+ years of experience, preferably within the banking or financial service industry, and a good understanding of Rates/FX cash product and their risk evaluation, which can be leveraged to guide the platform development.
o Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting trading platforms.
o Knowledge of pre-trade workflows will be considered a significant advantage, including pricing, liquidity management, and order routing. Collaborate with front-office teams to enhance pre-trade decision-making tools and analytics.
o Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, or other Relevant Subjects.
