Job Summary
Business
• Support senior process and product owners in delivering analytics, dashboards, and insights solutions to our frontline across CIB.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and delivered effectively.
• Apply knowledge of banking business, products, systems, processes, sales activities, and best practises in the market to design data driven insights and tools to optimize shareholder value add
• Leverage industry trends, best practices, and leading-edge technology to support new ideas to drive the business forward.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams (e.g., Finance, Client Coverage, Product Partners) to analyse Client Performance data and draw insights from the analysis which better enable accelerated, sustainable business growth and client relationship depth
• Support and, over time, take ownership of the relationship with the bank’s market insights vendor, ensuring optimal utilisation of the data license, user engagement, and training delivery.
Processes
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing the analytics and reporting product backlog in alignment with business priorities.
• Support process improvements across data sourcing, dashboard design, and reporting workflows to drive efficiency.
• Help document business requirements, user stories, and process flows in collaboration with technology and business partners.
• Identify opportunities to automate or streamline reporting through modern tools and AI integration.
Key Responsibilities
People & Talent
• Awareness and knowledge of Corporate & Institutional Banking products and concepts
• Solid analytical capability with familiarity in financial and coverage models, and the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights to support management discussions and decision-making.
• Build strong working relationships and develop effective communication with internal Frontline facing stakeholders and external vendors
• Strong presentation skills to assist with preparing monthly Forum packs to key stakeholders and adhoc presentations
• Support adoption and training of new analytics tools and dashboards among users.
• Proactive, self-starter, autonomous and able to independently drive business orientated outcomes
• Develop product and technical skills through mentorship, hands-on experience, and engagement with senior leaders.
Risk Management
• Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with internal control standards and policies.
• Maintain awareness of data usage and license compliance with third-party analytics vendors
Governance
• Ensure awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
• Deliver effective governance in compliance with applicable internal policies and external laws and regulations, overseeing changes in business controls as required

Our Ideal Candidate
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• Strong academic performance with evidence of analytical and problem-solving ability.
• 6+ months experience (including internships) in a relevant area, financial services, analytics, business analysis.
• Familiarity or certification in data visualisation tools (e.g Power Bi, Tableau, MSTR) and data analysis tools (Excel, Python, SQL) preferred
• Training or coursework in AI, machine learning or data strategy is beneficial
Role Specific Technical Competencies
• Knowledge of banking processes
• Analytical thinking and strong presentation skills
• Addressing Frontline Needs – Products and Processes
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
• Direct experience in the frontline (Preferred)
• Knowledge of human centered design (Preferred)
