Title: Associate, Communications

Job Summary
This role is responsible for implementing and executing the Bank’s communications strategy to build and protect the Bank’s reputation through media pitching, editorial content development, internal communication channels management, project management and coordination of events
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Singapore Comms head to pro-active delivery and pitching story angles that would appeal to both internal and external audience that are aligned with priorities in the annual plan, build profile of businesses in Singapore and globally, with a focus on strategy, financial results, business capabilities and achievements, thought leadership, management expertise, community initiatives and employee engagement
- Manage client communications, including with business teams - HR, Community, corporate & investment bank, and wealth and retail bank
- Build profile of the Brand and the Singapore management team, the business segments strategy, HR-driven focus and bank-wide employee initiatives.
- Work with the communications team and related stakeholders in Singapore to ensure alignment in approach to communications and implementation of marketing events or projects
- Daily media and sentiment monitoring and reporting
- Manage, design and develop content for internal communication channels
Skills and Experience
Our Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of experience in a communications role in a leading international financial institution or international conglomerate
- Strong planning and interpersonal skills
- Experience in driving external and internal communications strategies
- Strong understanding of media and social media including deadlines, interests, agendas, etc.
- Good written and communication skills
