JOB SUMMARY
This role could be based in Singapore and UK.
The Corporate Content and Production (CC&P) team produces creative content for global audiences, working closely with the Group Web and Group Social teams within Corporate Communications to drive positive engagement with our clients, colleagues and corporate stakeholders across our Group channels. We are seeking a passionate, creative storyteller and highly motivated collaborator for our Associate, Content role. The individual will be responsible for supporting the planning, production and amplification of best-in-class external and internal content, across a range of formats and channels. The role holder will contribute to the CC&P team’s objectives to grow awareness of the Bank’s narrative and differentiated value proposition, build greater trust with clients and corporate stakeholders, and make colleagues more likely to join and stay with us. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possesses strong communication skills, and is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced corporate environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce high-quality content assets across a wide range of formats, including long-form articles and white papers, video scripting and production, social and web copy, and infographics
• Support on the scoping, production and amplification of campaigns and ‘always on’ content, working within the CC&P team, across Corporate Communications (including Group Social and Group Web), Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing (CABM), marketing and comms teams within our two businesses (Corporate & Investment Banking and Wealth & Retail Banking), and external content agencies as required
• Continuously innovate and explore creative ways to deliver best-in-class content, exploring new approaches, formats or campaign tactics to increase engagement
• Incorporate results and key learnings from campaigns and ‘always on’ content into future work to ensure continuous improvement in our execution
• Build effective internal and external relationships, in order to bring additional insight, support and creative thinking into the team
• Collaborate with other teams across the CABM function, including the Brand team
• Support the effective application of our brand guidelines across the Bank, ensuring brand guidelines and tone of voice are upheld across Group channels
• Seek every opportunity to build a thorough understanding of the Bank’s strategy, business, markets and performance.
• Report on content performance against agreed objectives and key results.
• Work collaboratively across CABM teams and the wider Bank to ensure a consistent, joined up approach to storytelling
• Help to ensure continuous improvement in the team’s processes, including planning, performance measurement and reporting.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the broader CABM function to support excellence in storytelling, ensuring a joined-up and consistent approach
• Contribute to the smooth running and high performance of the team
• Build and maintain a network of key stakeholders across the Bank

• Maintain awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, as well as the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidate
• 3+ years of experience in content production role
• Creativity and a passion for storytelling across all formats and channels
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Ability to develop effective and collaborative working relationships
• Experience of working with multiple stakeholders across multiple locations
• Understanding of what makes good content and ability to work across audiences, channels and platforms
• Strong planning skills
• The role is suited to candidates with a background in journalism, corporate communications and/or publishing, as well as experience of working for a large, multinational organisation. Banking-sector experience is an advantage, but not essential.
