Job Summary

Our team focuses on driving operational excellence and organizational transformation through data-driven insights and advanced analytics. By leveraging proprietary frameworks and innovative methodologies, our team delivers measurable value across critical operational dimensions within CIB. The role will be responsible for end-to-end analytics and data solutions, which will include data sourcing, data transformation, predictive modelling and creating Tableau dashboards with UIUX standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage voluminous structure and unstructured data to build insightful visualisation for data-driven decision making.
  • Plan and scope of key metrics that need to be tracked for the stream/function/cluster (e.g. Client Coverage, Conduct and Control, Financial Crime, Data Quality etc.)
  • Create strong blending data capabilities within team so that we can come up with useful client information from data very quickly
  • Serve as a critical partner to the business in delivering actionable insights & data/ analytics-based solutions to business needs and problems
  • Help educate business on available analytics capabilities & tools
  • Engage with business stakeholders across countries and gather requirements and liaise with ETL team to get the required data preparation.
  • Engage and execute the dashboards on Tableau or similar visualization tools
  • Automate the data preparation on tools like Dataiku or similar tools
  • Explore statistical and automation tools like R, SAS, Python for predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Engage relevant technology teams to embed advanced statistical tools
  • Prepare and/or contribute to regular updates for various committees and governance forums
  • Provide insights to senior management and the network based on MIS and analytics

Our Ideal Candidate

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience in Data Analytics, business intelligence or MIS/Reporting.  Strong candidate with less experience will also be considered.
  • Subject Matter Expertise along with extensive hands-on experience in driving the development and implementation of data analytics solutions using Tableau or equivalent
  • Woking knowledge on ETL tools e.g. DataIku, Alteryx or equivalent ON
  • Good knowledge and skills in writing SQL / PostgreSQL / MySQL codes
  • Good to have skills in Python and data science libraries
  • Experience in project management from business requirement definition, solution validation, user testing, technical documentation and production roll out
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to varying levels of management
  • Highly driven and motivated with an eager-to-learn attitude and actively seek out ways to improve processes, people, and products Good presentation, time management, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to influence without authority

 

Qualification

  • Strong academic record: Degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
