Title: Associate Director, Integrated Services

RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Leads the Shared Utilities - Custody unit which is responsible for the management of Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) customers’ securing documentation .
• Provide guidance to team on custody related matters.
• Regular engagement sessions with team members.
• Support team members’ development through continuous training and upskilling.
• Responsible to review the team’s capacity plan, perform periodic access validation and all people management activities.
• Custody related projects / initiatives.
2) Contribute towards meeting the departmental budget and business efficiency target
by continuously review, enhance, simplify end to end processes and optimise them for the customers and bank.
3) Drive & / contribute effectively to the successful implementation of change management initiatives and projects within WRB Operations, Country & Group, by collaborating closely with relevant business units & functions.
4) Risk Management
• Raise the team’s risk awareness and embed a strong 1st line of defence mindset, knowledge and skills.
• Address risk, audit and compliance matters promptly as well as maintaining robust controls and monitoring measures.
• Ensure the processes are performed effectively and efficiently without compromising controls or breaching local regulatory requirements and bank policy / standards.
5) Manages the bank’s outsource arrangement with an external archival vendor.
Outsourcing governance responsibilities include:
• Facilitate service review meetings
• Contract renewal.
• Review and refresh all documents relating to the outsource arrangement to ensure they are up to date.
• Perform due diligence checks such as site visit check, periodic risk review, other controls.
• Ensure outsourcing risk is being identified, escalated, mitigated and resolved timely and effectively.
• Monitor and ensure closure of all audit issues.
• All other matters relating to the outsource arrangement.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

- Deliver best quality banking service to customers by providing excellent support to the internal teams. At the same time, maintaining a high standard of risk and operational control to boost profitability and safeguarding the Bank’s interest.
Our Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of experience in a People Leader position and Project Management, ideally within the banking sector.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging, building rapport, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders and teams.
- Highly motivated, positive, organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
- Proactive in taking ownership of issues and tasks, driving them to successful completion.
- Experience in Record Management.
- Experience in Outsourcing Governance.
- Experience in Banking Operations, including the management of securing documentation.
- Experience in change management initiatives and projects.
- Experience in process improvement.
- Confident with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
