JOB SUMMARY
The Credit and Portfolio Management (CPM) team focuses on reinforcing origination discipline, reducing profit and loss volatility and optimising capital and liquidity resources to support the growth of the Corporate and Investing Banking (CIB) and Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business
• Drive efficient and effective asset and liquidity distribution initiatives including the development of cost and balance sheet liquidity distribution options.
• Work with the deal team(s) for execution of transactions (e.g. structured liquidity facilities)
• Participate in the Distribution Forum to co-ordinate distribution strategy consistently across the Bank.
• Actively explore and advance on new types and avenues of distribution to diversify liquidity sources which includes looking into ways to expand the distribution investor base.
• Provide transparency on the cost, effectiveness, and execution risk of a transaction to enable decision-making which includes maintaining discipline on assessing comparable transactions.
Process
• Manage liquidity distribution initiatives (covered bonds, term liquidity, contingent liquidity, etc) including replenishments, run test trades, reporting and transaction management.
• Manage central bank discount windows initiatives for CIB loans including coordination with CPM-FRM, CPM Assets and Treasury to optimise eligible loans.
• Work closely with Technology and Legal to ensure robustness of the Legal Workflow tool.
• Ensure robust governance, reporting and booking of transactions to ensure benefits are taken to the extent committed.
• Support senior members of CPM Distribution in other distribution activities when needed.
People & Talent
• Work with stakeholders within CPM, Treasury, Risk and the Business to determine and execute appropriate distribution initiatives to ensure liquidity resilience.
Risk Management
• Ensure tight adherence to compliance standards in execution of transactions, distribution of assets and liquidity distribution activities.
• Monitor changes in the regulatory landscape and market structure related to distribution activities, including responding to regulatory questions and updates.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Education: Graduate qualifications (or conversions), Well recognised university degree. Master’s in finance will be advantageous.
- 2 plus years of working experience in the finance industry is preferred.
- Analytical mind with problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated, able to work independently and multi-task effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communications. Able to write well and articulate ideas to management.
- Strong understanding of banking products is a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, and able to liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders on various programs.
