Job Summary
• Responsible for management of the CFCC risk (Sanctions, AML including Payment Transparency and Data Quality) to enable front to back, seamless, client focused delivery and reduction of residual risk for the Transaction Banking Cash business.
• Work with stakeholders across 1LOD, 2LOD and 3LOD to streamline processes, enhance productivity, reduce risk and improve controls for CFCC risks across all principal / top risk types including:
o Data Management (Data Quality, Records Management)
o AML
o Sanctions
o Payment Transparency
Key Responsibilities
• Tracking and validating the residual risk and treatment plans the CFCC deliverables. This includes:
o Reviewing secondary metrics and OREs to identify root causes for incidents.
o Work with 2LOD and partners to define treatment plans to address risk and reduce the risk profile.
o Define the technology platform for CFCC Risks where required and the key operational processes.
• Partner with the Cash Product team to ensure that the CFCC risks for all new / materially changed products are managed through treatment plans and actions.
• Manages the Cash - FCC & DQ workstream within the TB Regulatory and Risk Programme, including:
o Management of the Cash CFCC Pre-Refinement meeting that oversees the front to back Cash business and related forums where the risk agenda is managed including risk elevations, mitigating actions and treatment plans across all applicable CFCC risk types impacting the Cash business. This role is also expected to manage the PTOG.
o Working with technology to ensure capacity allocation and delivery of all relevant work items for regulatory, risk and control items.
o Validating the Risk Index and setting targets for the scorecard.
o Escalating any material risk issues or delays to 2LOD and senior committees where the agreed glidepaths are impacted.
o Providing inputs to senior governance meetings and committees as required.
• Ensure systems, capabilities, infrastructure, and processes are fit for purpose and are implemented as per required standards across all locations and remediated to meet the RR targets for CFCC risks.
• Ensure constant client input to the CFCC epic to elevate the client experience and drive the service teams to deliver high quality client interactions with solutions that meet client expectations.
• Be the point person for FI Clearing and Paytech on risk considerations engaging with other TB/Cash risk leads.
Strategy
• Responsible for effectively assessing and helping to manage the - CFCC epic and its impact on Strategy, Operating Model, Risk and Controls standards and compliance with regulations, and ensure business processes are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
• Collaborate with Technology on futuristic digital opportunities, pre-empt disruptive forces and commercialise innovative use of technologies.
• Support continual experimentation to deliver outcomes that align to the strategy and product backlog.
Business
• Partner with the Business, taking product investment decisions, into design, specification, and solution phases, securing support services from other teams. The term “Product” is used here in a generic sense to describe required capabilities. It includes capabilities that are needed to meet regulatory requirements as well as capabilities for supporting “internal clients”.
• Role model a strong, collaborative business relationship between Cash delivery teams across the global footprint. Maintain strong lines of communication across our Cash footprint through an effective communication process.

Risk Management
• Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant committees in line with the banks policies.
• Work with the relevant BRM team to develop, design and implement control measures and monitoring plans for compliance and operational risk management.
• Ensure that material risks that are brought to stakeholders’ attention which affect business processes and critical systems and projects are monitored, managed (to minimise loss and risk), and escalated accordingly.

• Provide oversight across the footprint, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with local banking laws and anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years industry experience in Risk Management with relevant experience on Cash Management and Financial Crime Compliance
- Masters or Bachelor's degree
- Experience in driving governance framework, managing regulatory, operational and other risks for Clearing and Corresponding Banking product suite
- Knowledge of all segments in the Transaction Banking business especially on Cash Management and activities with a broad understanding of CCIB Banking business
- Proactive and positive with the ability to make good/sound decisions and use independent judgement balancing risk and business grown mindset
- Project and Programme Management skills to monitor specific projects and take ownership of issues/ tasks.
- Thought leadership and proven ability to lead and manage various teams globally and effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to create effective work relationships across functions & borders
- Interpersonal skills in networking, influencing and decision taking
- Good presentation, time management, negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
