Title: Business CDD Specialist

JOB SUMMARY
The key responsibilities of Business CDD Specialist in PvB Business Enablement Team include reviewing the submission of new business (“NB”) from Wealth planners/Relationship Managers to a trust company in Singapore, supporting fiduciary review (“FR”) of trust structures, supporting PvB SG Regional Head in reviewing/approving new account opening and periodic review of PvB SG clients, and any assigned tasks/projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Business
With the awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model, coupled with staying abreast of industry news, provide financial information support for business consideration.
Processes
SCB licensed trust company
• review new business submitted from different PvB AC to trust company and support fiduciary review of existing trust structures established by PvB clients.
• review and provide comment on any change in Group and PvB policies and procedures, revise DOIs of trust company to align with any change in policies, procedures and regulations.
• Handle control sample testing, internal & external audit requests/queries, extract data for management reporting, escalate new business and periodic review cases to relevant stakeholders for further handling.
• Ensure that the expectations of the relevant stakeholders are adequately managed throughout the above processes.
• Support the team with any work/task/project assigned.
PvB
• Support/review new account opening and periodic review submitted to PvB SG Regional Head.
• Prepare data/presentation materials and MI for management where necessary.
• Support the team with any work/project/task assigned.
People & Talent
• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
• Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.
• Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.
Risk Management & Governance
Ability to have a controls centred mind while conducting day to day operations, identify key issues and propose course of mitigation.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Our Ideal Candidate
- 5 plus years in trust administration and/or private banking compliance roles
- Experience in reviewing KYC/CDD or source of wealth.
- Prior working experience in trust companies or banks will be advantageous
- Trust / banking compliance background is essential.
- Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (“STEP”) qualified would be an added advantage.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft word, excel etc. would be advantageous
- Strong analytical skill.
