Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Manager to lead the UAT efforts for Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) project involving significant system and process changes. This program is a is a key part of our global SCM transformation.  The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all system and process changes meet business requirements and function correctly before they are deployed into the production environment. 

The ideal candidate is an experienced testing manager with strong analytical mindset, strong EQ and Risk and business engagement skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, excellence time management and stakeholder management skills 
 

Key Responsibilities

1. UAT Planning and Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive UAT strategy and plan for the TPRM project.
  • Define UAT scope, objectives, and criteria for success in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Identify and document UAT resource requirements, including necessary tools and environments.

2. Test Case Development

  • Collaborate with business analysts, process owners, and technical teams to understand system and process changes.
  • Design and develop detailed UAT test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on business requirements and use cases.
  • Ensure test cases cover all functional and integration aspects of the system changes.

3. Test Execution and Management

  • Coordinate and manage the execution of UAT activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
  • Coordinate with Data team for data upload required during UAT
  • Manage the data requirements with Users for effective UAT execution
  • Lead a team of business users and testers in executing test cases and documenting results.
  • Upload the test evidences in ADO for respective User story
  • Monitor and report on UAT progress, including defects, issues, and test coverage.

4. Issue Resolution and Reporting

  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects and issues discovered during UAT.
  • Work closely with development and technical teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
  • Provide regular status updates and detailed reports to project stakeholders and senior management.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users, project teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Facilitate UAT review meetings and walkthroughs with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from business users to refine test cases and improve UAT processes.

6. Post-UAT Activities

  • Coordinate UAT Closure and obtain Sign Off from all the respective UAT users.
  • Conduct post-UAT reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all UAT documentation is complete, accurate, and stored appropriately for future reference.

  • Understand and comply with Group standard policies and guidelines to ensure no breach of the global and bank standards.

  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates

  • Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end processes, key scenarios and how different processes interact and integrate with each other to effectively manage the UAT

  • Good problem-solving capabilities and execution
  • Ability to work under ambiguous business environments to provide clarity and facilitate discussions to reach consensus / business decisions
  • Strong scope and accountability management
  • Strong regular communication highlighting impediments and requesting help where required / reporting to management on progress
  • Proficient in UAT tools and software, such as JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Risk Management

  • Strong understanding of risk management to effectively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact the UAT process and the overall project.
  • Governance 
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years experience in testing & assurance 
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Azure DevOps and Confluence
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. 
  • Experience in deliveries using Agile methodology
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies in a matrixed environment.
  • Results-driven, with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs within tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
