JOB SUMMARY

This role is part of the CRES and SCM Strategic Change Team which is within S&T COO team. As part of the performance and governance function, this role will provide Portfolio Management across the Investment Portfolios for CRES and SCM. This will cover working with CRES and SCM Programme Managers on implementation of S&T process/control requirements (aligned to Change Delivery Standards), assurance of process compliance within the investment portfolios and support on use of Clarity to govern the portfolios.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Awareness and understanding of the CRES and SCM functions and strategy including the scorecard metrics.
Processes
• Ensure all initiative deliverables, artefacts and approvals are stored in a structured discoverable format for future recovery and audit
• Prepare, manage and maintain, and track quality of key deliverables in terms of value creation from each initiative with clear alignment to S&T business plan and scorecard metrics.
• Ensuring Clarity and JIRA are up to date including initiatives’ unified backlog, impact to business scorecard, key milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues and capacity management to be tracked and reported to the appropriate governance bodies.
People & Talent
• Embrace the Agile philosophy and continuously seek feedback and improve the governance and improve portfolio governance
• Support Chief Product Owners and Product Owners to facilitate/assure PgSCs as required.
Risk Management
• Closely monitor High Operational Risk Projects and adhere to the OR policy on project management
• Closely monitor in-flight strategic projects and report key risks, issues and mitigating actions. Ensure appropriate escalation and management attention.
Governance
• Assure governance standards across the Portfolio, including tracking, monitoring and updating the benefits or value delivered by initiatives
• Manage PgSCs with adherence to the Change Delivery Standards in line with S&T Portfolio and the Bank’s control and governance framework
• Assure adherence to SDLC controls and propose control improvements, enhancements and simplifications where appropriate
• Proactively maintain initiatives library with quality and completeness, including auditable approval trails
• Ensure all submissions to investment committees and working groups (PgSCs and MPR/QPR) are of the right quality and are timely.
• Review, control and report on financial status of the individual components and overall portfolio as per the bank’s standards.

Our Ideal Candidate
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or a related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous.
• 5 + years of PM or PMO experience in large and complex, multi-geography, multidisciplinary projects.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
• Organisation and Leadership skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise
• Able to get things done in a quick-paced environment. Be transparent and open around what doesn’t work and what does
• Technical reporting writing across various types of target audiences
• Knowledge of Clarity, JIRA, Tableau and ECM Change Delivery Standards.
