JOB SUMMARY
SME Banking provides a suite of cash management products and services as well as funding options to support companies in Singapore to manage their business needs.
As the Cash Management Product Manager, you will be expected to understand the suite of cash management products and services, use cases, corresponding pricing methodology as well as the suitability of these products for the SME customers.
This role will report to Head of SME Banking Product & Strategy, and work with key stakeholders across Transaction Banking including implementation and operations teams, Group SME Banking, Relationship managers, CDD and Compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategies jointly with TB, Group SME Banking and SME Sales teams to increase the wallet share of existing to bank and new to bank customers in their usage of cash management product and services, investments, insurance and hedging solutions, in accordance with the business objectives of the BB customers
• Develop new products and drive the growth of existing products under your care through incorporating clients’ needs, understanding market competition, defining product features and revenue drivers, streamlining internal on-boarding processes, setting sales team and individual product targets, and maximizing sales acquisition channels.
• Conduct portfolio reviews of SME clients using MIS to assess opportunities to drive operating account behavior, upsell or cross sell, determine the reasonableness of fees and interest pricing as well as take relevant actions (for e.g. target client engagement, product features adjustments or targeted sales campaigns) to achieve the above objectives
• Work closely with Marketing team to strategize marketing plans and develop collaterals for product awareness and acquisition.
• Plan, execute and track product promotions and client campaigns to acquire new-to-bank clients and increase product holdings of existing-to-bank clients.
• Conduct product training with all customer touch points to ensure familiarity with the product propositions and processes. This will require partnership with the Sales teams, Transaction Banking and relevant support functions
• Update Management and Stakeholders on product performances through proficient use of Management Information reports. Work with Finance and Treasury teams to ensure that the SME liability books are priced correctly to maximise returns for the business (for e.g. funds transfer pricing methodology, operating account methodology, reference rates movements and impact on the profitability of our portfolio)
• Ensure product adherence to CDD & Compliance procedures, internal & external regulations, and the timely submissions of related reports.
• Increase client adoption of the bank’s digital channels through driving improvement in channel capabilities and educating Sales teams and Customer contact centre/ Client services groups to enhance their ability to resolve clients’ issues.
• Manage the deals implementation processes in partnership with sales teams, transaction banking product managers, respective governance teams, implementation and operations teams. This will include products and services such as Static or dynamic Quick Response codes setup, Host to Host/API integration, Escrow Services, Domestic Sweeping). You will need to understand clients’ needs, co-design solutions, review clients’ revenue expectations, provide training to clients and resolve post implementation client queries/issues.
5+ years’ experience managing trade and working capital products for SME clients.

Qualification
• Education Minimum Bachelor’s Degree

• Understanding of end-to-end Cash Management solutions, pricing mechanisms and funding costs.
• Skilled in strategic planning and product positioning to meet SME client needs and maximise revenue.
• Strong knowledge of industry trends and competitors’ products and can convert insights into product enhancements.
• Hands-on in planning and executing product promotions and client campaigns for NTB and ETB clients.
• Collaborates effectively with Sales, Transaction Banking, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, Operations and Marketing.
• Strong knowledge of CDD and Compliance requirements and ensures products meet internal and regulatory standards.
• Champions digital channel adoption and is familiar with solutions such as QR collections, H2H/API, Escrow and Sweeping.
