Job Description: 

We’re looking for a talented Polytechnic Graduate to join our team as a Client Due Diligence Apprentice. During a 12-month learning journey, you’ll experience various teams including Individual Banking and SME Banking to understand how client due diligence is critical to the Bank. 

Our Client Due Diligence team is part of our first line of defence. You’ll tackle financial crime risks to keep our business safe. From understanding our clients’ expected banking activities to combating fraudulent ones, the work you do will be complex and interesting. Our Client Due Diligence (CDD) team sits within our global Technology and Operations team.

What you’ll be doing

 

As part of your role, you’ll be responsible for:

 

  • Performing reviews on clients to ensure there is no anti-money laundering risk concerns.
  • Ensuring all reviews are 100% compliant to Bank’s Client Due Diligence procedures and local regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring all client reviews are assessed and completed in a timely manner.  

About the Apprenticeship Programme

 

During this learning journey, you will embark on two 6-month long rotations. You will be exposed to different projects and tasks, alongside structured training, mentorship and on-the-job learning. Through the programme, you’ll experience an incredible and varied global learning experience, which include:

Eligibility

 

We welcome graduates from all Polytechnic Diploma disciplines with less than 2 years of working experience. You’ll also:

 

  • Have the permanent legal right to work in Singapore
  • Have a keen interest in Banking and Finance industry
  • Have a strong eye for detail, with good written English
  • Basic understanding of anti money laundering.
