Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    The Process Excellence team, part of the Group Transformation Office, supports the Bank in improving how work gets done through structured problem solving, continuous improvement and practical process excellence capability building.
•    We are looking for an Activation & Engagement Lead to support engagement and adoption activity across A3 Continuous Improvement and PE Playbook enablement. The role ensures that agreed initiatives are executed effectively through structured planning, communications, community engagement and follow-through.
This includes helping colleagues understand available support, encouraging participation, supporting champions and practitioners, coordinating engagement moments, and helping showcase good examples of continuous improvement and process excellence in action.
•    This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive, confident working with stakeholders, and able to turn plans into clear communications, engagement materials and practical follow-through.
•    The role will work closely with the Head of CI & PE Enablement, Continuous Improvement leads, PE Training leads, A3 Champions, facilitators, coaches, sponsors, learning partners, platform teams and business/function stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Support the delivery of the Process Excellence enablement agenda by converting agreed priorities into practical activation and engagement plans.
•    Maintain an integrated engagement calendar aligned to A3 Continuous Improvement, PE Playbook and related activities
•    Ensure activation activity is coordinated, timely and aligned to agreed workstream priorities
•    Capture feedback from practitioners, champions and stakeholders and share with relevant leads to inform improvements
•    Contribute practical ideas to improve engagement, participation and follow-through across agreed initiatives

Business

•    Support delivery of engagement activities including campaigns, showcases, community sessions, recognition moments and events. 
•    Help activate and support the A3 Champions network by preparing materials, coordinating sessions, tracking actions and following up on agreed activities.
•    Support ongoing engagement of participants following training or enablement sessions to encourage application and follow-through
•    Support PE Playbook enablement by helping participants stay engaged after training, access relevant materials, complete follow-up actions and share examples of application.
•    Help coordinate community activities that bring practitioners together to share examples, lessons learned, templates and practical tips.
•    Work with stakeholders to collate examples of A3s, Playbook artefacts, success stories and reusable materials
•    Support creation of clear, simple and engaging internal communications including briefings, newsletters, community posts and showcase content

Processes
•    Maintain and track the activation and engagement calendar for agreed activities across A3 and PE Playbook enablement
•    Coordinate meetings, community sessions, showcases and engagement touchpoints, including preparation and follow-up actions
•    Support preparation and maintenance of practical activation materials such as guides, templates, briefing packs, session materials and FAQs
•    Support tracking of agreed engagement and adoption metrics including participation, attendance, submissions and follow-up actions
•    Maintain organised repositories of engagement materials, templates, examples and reusable assets
•    Capture stakeholder feedback and route inputs to relevant leads for action or consideration

People and Talent 

•    Build effective working relationships across Process Excellence teams, A3 Champions, facilitators, process practitioners, and business stakeholders
•    Provide stakeholders with clear, timely and practical information to support participation in activities
•    Support an inclusive and engaging environment where practitioners can share, learn and collaborate
•    Act as a positive advocate for continuous improvement and structured problem solving
•    Demonstrate a proactive, organised and delivery-focused approach with strong attention to detail

Risk Management
•    Support adherence to agreed Process Excellence methods, including the Design & Process Excellence Playbook and A3 Playbook
•    Identify risks, blockers or low engagement areas and escalate to relevant leads
•    Ensure communications and materials are accurate, consistent and aligned before circulation
•    Support use of quality guardrails by directing colleagues to appropriate guidance, templates and support channels
•    Maintain discipline in action tracking, follow-up and material version control

Governance 
•    Support preparation for stakeholder updates and governance forums by collating inputs and actions 
•    Track and follow up on actions from community sessions, training activities and engagement events
•    Provide updates on engagement activity, participation trends and upcoming milestones
•    Maintain visibility of agreed plans, dependencies and delivery progress
•    Support consistency in reporting by aligning outputs to agreed formats and expectations

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Communications, Change Management, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in change management, communications, engagement, and capability enablement, with exceptional content writing, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to develop executive-level materials, leadership updates, community content, and briefing materials for MD, GMT, and other senior stakeholder audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement capabilities, with the ability to partner effectively across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, Lean,  A3, or Process Excellence concepts (preferred but not essential).
