Title: DDCP Data Strategy Lead

Job Summary
The individual will have responsibility for supporting the management of a regulatory critical multi jurisdictional, multi business and multi functional data strategy, globally for CLM within Data and Coverage Platforms (DDCP) for the digital transformation of the bank and ensure successful delivery across the Program. Specifically this role is focussed solely on supporting the DDCP CLM Program lead to:
1. Platform & Architecture Foundation
- Design the strategy for a Cloud-Ready Platform with full scalability incorporated for future expected growth. Candidate will use Terraform/infrastructure-as-code approaches in order to provide consistent deployment strategies.
- Unified Data Model: Enterprise Client Architecture design liaison that considers relationships between data entities and all facets of that client relationship. This includes evaluation of modelling / technology and AI opportunities.
- Real-Time Capabilities: Define and design any RT capabilities as required by the service design..
- Principles and standards: adherence to and assistance in shaping the design of principles and standards for delivery.
2. Analytics & AI Backbone
- Unified Data Engineering: ETL pipelines that create a consistent client view
- Strengthen our Digital and AI Core:
- Data – align with and work in close cooperation with the CLM Data mapping lead.
- Security: assist in the design and specification of the necessary security.
- AI: evaluate and assist optionality for AI Agents; AI Knowledge; ML Model Management and where required Advanced Features such as centralized feature store, synthetic data generation for testing, and anomaly detection baselines
- Entity Resolution: assist in the data strategy and data management of entity resolution techniques for the final chose architectural solution.
Also included in the role is oversight and advisory services to help shape an AI-First strategy.
3. Governance & Compliance
- Clear Data Ownership: Define data strategy roles across the programme with accountability aligned to RACI.
- Active Data Stewardship: Oversee in conjunction with programme leadership on training and tools for those managing our data quality and lineage
- Active D&A Standards: define, own, and deliver data management standards i.e., standards beyond the 5 data risks.
- Regulatory Readiness: Define shape and assist delivery of pre-aggregated datasets for reporting and a system to track regulatory changes
- Attestation Store/Repository: Ownership and oversight of structured storage for all certifications regulators require, within the constrains of the RACI.
- Compliance Quality Gates: Design Authority, Modelling Authority, Productionalisation Approval Board.
4. Master Data & Integration
Ownership of influencing and shaping:
- Single Source of Truth: Authoritative sources with rich metadata and lineage
- Entity Structures: Models for corporate hierarchies and UBO identification
- Regulatory Classifications: FATCA/CRS status, MiFID categories for our global footprint
- Document Intelligence: Structured data extraction from all those forms
5. Business Intelligence & Client Analytics
Ownership of influencing and shaping:
- Performance Dashboards: Measuring how well we're serving clients and meeting goals
- Client Journey Analytics: Multi-channel data integration to understand client experiences
- Relationship Value Metrics: Profitability scoring and potential value assessments
- Including: Network Analytics, Opportunity Analytics, Value Proposition Analytics
6. Document & Process Management
Ownership of influencing and shaping:
- Classification and embedding System: Organizing document library with smart tagging, tokenisation and vectorisation
- Digital Lifecycle Tracking: Monitoring expirations and triggering renewals automatically
- Intelligent Extraction: Using NLP/OCR/GenAI to convert documents to structured data (the BHAG from last year)
7. Migration & Legacy Integration
Ownership of influencing and shaping:
- Phased Migration: mapping with quality validation
- Data Virtualization: Giving access to legacy data without full replication
- API abstraction
- Service bus
8. Privacy & Consent Management
Ownership of influencing and shaping in conjunction with regulatory and compliance leads:
- Granular Consent Tracking: Managing permissions across jurisdictions
- Rights Management: Workflows for handling GDPR and similar requests
- Cross-Border Registry: Documenting our transfer mechanisms and safeguards

Strategy
- Per the above detailed responsibilities, take ownership, lead and direct delivery of the components. Further evaluation the business strategy requirements, north star and service design to ensure appropriateness of future operating model. Leverage industry expertise, including industry body participation, to shape future horizon strategy for data strategy, specifically including future flexibility of design to allow for rapid mobility and reaction to extraneous factors that have direct bearing on operational stability. An example being geopolitical and regulatory / legislative considerations.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Deep multi institutional multi jurisdictional experience of complex CLM project delivery. Specific skills related to complex regulatory jurisdictions (such as China / India as examples) a necessity. Strong track record of senior C level engagement a necessity. PMI, Agile, PMO credentials is a plus.
- 15+ years’ of experience in large scale program, project management in financial services, corporate or investment banking.
- Proven track record of multi jurisdictional multi modal programme delivery specifically with data lineage optimization and AI driven solutioning.
- Ability to quickly ramp up on new concepts to keep up with the changing environment, deal with uncertainty
- Track record of managing large scale & complex global roll outs
- Highly experienced in financial/budget management
- Demonstrates good understanding of a wide range of elements of the Bank’s business and the customers, industries, and partners with which the Bank is involved.
- Strong commercial acumen, as well as demonstrable experience of understanding relationships between key financial and non-financial business drivers
- Analytical, critical, and creative problem-solving skills with an in-depth understanding of utilizing electronic delivery channels to meet business goals and client needs.
- Effective and persuasive communication both written and spoken, with strong presentation skills.
- Collaboration skills; ability to drive understanding and information exchange across all stakeholders
- Highly experienced on synthesizing data and providing analytics driven insights
- Highly experienced in financial/budget management
- Attention to detail, ability to articulate without ambiguity

- Experience in Agile implementation
- Specific skills to include multi region multi jurisdiction CLM project delivery (China and India a plus)
