JOB SUMMARY
• We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Responsive Web Frontend Engineer to join our growing team in Singapore. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience developing responsive, user-centric web applications using modern Angular frameworks, JavaScript, and CSS.
• This role requires strong skills in building high-performance UIs that communicate efficiently with backend APIs, as well as the discipline to document design decisions and technical implementations clearly. The candidate should be comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating through tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• A curiosity for experimentation, an understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), and familiarity with prompt engineering are highly valued
RESPONSIBILITIES
Frontend Development
• Develop and maintain responsive and performant web interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Create reusable components and implement consistent styling across the application using modular and scalable CSS (e.g., SCSS, Tailwind, or equivalent).
• Optimize user experience for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across multiple devices and screen sizes.
API Integration & Client-Server Communication
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services, ensuring robust and secure client-server interactions.
• Handle data consumption, state management (e.g., RxJS, NgRx), session management (JWT) and error handling in the frontend layer.
Agile Collaboration & Documentation
• Participate in Agile sprints, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Use JIRA for task tracking and Confluence for documenting UI specifications, workflows, and design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive, well-integrated solutions.
• Maintain a strong discipline for technical and process documentation to ensure long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.
LLM & Experimental Features (Preferred)
• Experiment with integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into frontend workflows (e.g., chatbot interfaces, smart form inputs).
• Explore prompt engineering techniques to enhance user interaction and productivity through AI features.

Our Ideal Candidate
Technical Skills
• Proficient in Angular (v10 or later), with a strong grasp of component architecture, lifecycle management, and routing.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs, JSON, and WebSockets.
• Experience with frontend tooling such as Webpack, NPM, ESLint, and testing frameworks like Jasmine or Karma.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio of responsive web applications.
• Experience in Agile development teams, using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with LLM integrations (e.g., OpenAI APIs) and prompt engineering concepts.
• Experience with design systems or frontend architecture planning.
• Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) and internationalization/localization.
• Knowledge of test automation tools and browser performance profiling.
