JOB SUMMARY

  • Analytical support to facilitate CPM team’s active participation in order to help determine the Commercial Corporate & Institutional Banking (CCIB) strategy which aims to maximise shareholder value, identifies and creates areas of competitive advantage and aligns to the overall strategic direction of the wider business

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with team to create dashboards that provide insightful and useful information at a glance.
  • Support the team in the client and portfolio analytics as necessary for developing the various segment strategies aligned to the overall strategic direction of the CCIB
  • Design and Develop CPM MI dashboard for scalability, manageability, extensibility, and re-use.
  • Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design and implementation and determine the best implementation that will meet the design of the architect

  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in CCIB

  • Group and CCIB Finance, Credit Policy, ERM, Product Heads of TB/FM/Lending, Relationship Managers, Credit Risk Control, Compliance, Integrated Middle Office and Operations

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Graduate qualifications (or conversions): Bachelors or post-graduate qualifications in Mathematics, Enterprise Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative discipline
  • 5 plus years of experience in banking and financial services industry, including relevant experience in data analytics, portfolio analytics, management reporting, etc.   
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization techniques and proficient in tools such as Tableau is a must.
  • Proficient in database management and statistical programming language (Python, SAS, SQL)
  • Proven track record of working across functions such as Finance, Risk, Treasury, and business
