Title: Director, Credit Card Product Management

JOB SUMMARY
This is a Group Credit Card product governance role focused on execution of Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB) Global Credit Card (CC) Strategy. This encompasses the management and delivery of Credit Card profitability maximization initiatives, mandates delivery, governance initiatives and documentation matters.
1. Leading Card Product Governance-related activities for the group:
• Product programme governance management and periodic reviews
• Review of global policies and standards, managing dispensations and implementation of policies / regulations across markets
• Participation in Incentive Plan forums
• Managing corrective actions and periodic policy validations on bank platforms
2. Ownership of operational component of scheme engagement:
• Leading monthly operational calls with schemes
• Oversight of scheme mandate implementation, timeline/support discussions with schemes
• Scheme governance as critical service providers
• Periodic bank policy validations with schemes
• Operation Rules Validation for schemes compliance
3. Scheme fees cost reduction.

Strategy
Defining operation engagement with Mastercard and Visa globally.
Business
• Supports execution by engaging with analytics and finance teams for modelling, operations teams and third parties for fulfilment, one delivery team for tech / experience changes.
• Works with one delivery team / tech teams to deliver internal, regulatory and scheme compliance.
Processes
• Leading Card Product Governance-related activities for the group
• Liaising with 2LOD Risk teams to review global policies and standards, manage dispensations and implementation of policies
• Leads implementation of initiatives targeted to reduce the cost of scheme processing.
People & Talent
• Leads by example, sets appropriate tone & expectations from teams (incl. cross-functional stakeholders in markets), and works with partners’ alliance/support. Ability to collaborate cross geographies, functions, and levels. Respects differences in cultures & opinions to promote an inclusive environment where all can drive towards common goal.
Risk Management
• Participating in risk and governance forum to present global CC position
• Effectively ensures relevant controls are set in place with developments of applicable accountabilities.
• Leads discussions with risk framework owners and translates control strategies into execution activities with relevant country stakeholders.
Governance
• Leads implementation of key policies, standards, regulations and scheme mandates
• Ensure all processes are carried out efficiently and are fully compliant to internal and external compliance/ regulatory requirements.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Academic Degree (preferably in Banking & Finance)
• 10+ years of experience in Banking
