Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Head, Digital Strategy & Advisory, CPBB and working closely with the Global Head of Digital – CPBB, this role will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for CPBB digital and running the strategic planning initiatives to ensure our people, processes and investment priorities are aligned with the leadership vision & direction.
Key Responsibilities
Overall
The purpose of this role is to enable the bank to deliver on its strategic intent through driving the best-in-class customer experience for CPBB as a whole and in particular developing industry leading solutions to solve for the unmet needs of our customers across our global footprint.
To achieve this, the role holder is required to perform the following:
Strategy
• Define the digital strategy together with the relevant hive / domain leads & markets. Bring in the customer lens, behavior and data driven insights to build an analytical and objective view of the strategic direction for CPBB digital.
• Support strategic C-suite communications for the Group Digital Head,CPBB which can take the form of board papers, strategy decks or Management Team updates.
• Support transversal strategic initiatives as required under the guidance of Head, Digital Strategy & Advisory CPBB
Business
• Collaborate with hive / domain leads to ensure effective translation of the Group digital strategy into operational backlog and delivery initiatives
• Collaborate with markets / regions and hives / domains to prioritize / sequence roadmap activities to ensure customer experience consistency and more efficient delivery / execution.
• Collaborate with markets / regions and hives / domains leads to drive digital metrics in alignment with CPBB scorecard
Processes
• Create effective digital dashboards and metrics that are coherent with the digital strategy and customer experience framework
• Establish relevant frameworks and cadences to build market’s digital roadmaps in alignment with Group Digital strategy
People and Talent
• Together with Head, Digital Strategy and Advisory and HR transformation leads, support transformation initiatives related to operating model and capability uplift for the Group Digital teams
Risk Management
• Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group. Also, an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them.
• Interprets relevant data and identifies key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
Governance
• Displays awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidate
Experience
• Minimum of 12 years’ overall experience, preferably in digital transformation in financial services
• Strong strategy/analysis skills: Background in management consulting with a track record of progression/ project leadership and experience delivering digital strategy transformation projects for financial services
• Ability to problem-solve effectively across a wide range of topics and can synthesize and present complex issues/strategic choices in a C-suite relevant manner.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a matrix organization with a high degree of initiative and strong ability to meet key responsibilities with limited direction and oversight.
• Strong collaboration, consensus building, problem resolution and communication skills are a prerequisite.
