Experienced Technology Delivery professional who manages the successful technical delivery of products. A skilled technology expert who works across multiple squads or hives for delivery of complex Features, Epics & Releases.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities

•    To develop the Bank’s relationships with Clients through marketing and sales of Financial Market products
•    Producer role to drive Flow Repo revenues in Singapore region
•    Drive the wider Financial Markets strategy to align with Bank’s Long Term objectives and opportunities
•    Partner with key internal stakeholders including Trading, Structuring and Risk Teams
•    Ensure adherence and compliance to Regulatory standards of Trade Capture and booking models
•    Business enabler and assist to co-ordinate, upskill and drive resource allocation. Supports on initiatives and pursues opportunities across HK & wider ASEAN region in Repo space

Strategy

•    Diligent coverage of the daily flow business meeting all required standards and procedures
•    Champion digitalisation and automation efforts, identifying and implementing solutions that improve efficiency and the Client experience
•    Lead initiatives to enhance Cross-Asset and Cross-Border collaboration, ensuring integration of Products & Services for clients whilst maximising returns
•    Drive the client engagement for RWA optimisation to improve the overall FM product RoRWA

Business
•    Achieving assigned full year budget as per annual Year End Review document for Client Income from allocated Client Accounts
•    Within this budget, aim to generate specific Financial Markets Product mix as per Year End Review Document 
•    Help mentor and develop a high-performing Financial Markets team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous learning

Processes
•    The role will involve liaising with clients and executing trades and orders in line with SCB’s policy and procedures consistent with all FM Sales staff globally including Order Handling , Record Keeping and Best Execution
•    Accountable for ensuring appropriate frameworks and operational infrastructures are in place to enable the business processes to be efficient, appropriate and compliant with internal policies, procedures, codes and applicable external laws and regulations
•    Monitor the utilization of each client’s trading limits with SCB, obtain specific approval for any excess likely to arise as a result of a particular transaction 
•    Continued provision of best-in-class service to help build the financial markets relationship. 
•    Maintain an updated account plan for Financial Markets products for each client. Use to identify potential relationship growth areas and create action plans for addressing opportunities accordingly.

People & Talent
•    Contribute to technical innovation and share knowledge within the engineering community. 
•    Stay updated on emerging technologies, lead internal workshops and seminars, encourage team participation in innovation initiatives

•    Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas
•    Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal candidate

  • 8 years+ experience as Sales across flow financing markets within a Bank
  • Core client relationships developed across multi segment institutions including real money asset managers, insurance, pension funds and variety of fast money funds including Macro/RV, long/short credit, EM with understanding of different financing requirements
  • Robust up-to-date Macro understanding of G10 and likely impact on relevant financing markets
  • Product expertise across repo, stock loan & TRS
  • Strong communication skills & stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead the product across the region in a player/coach capacity. Monetise client relationships, adding flow/revenue in Singapore whilst engaging with broader sales teams across Asia to drive the product regionally. 
  • Knowledge and vision of the future state of financing markets include regulatory understanding/impact
