Job Summary
Payments Director for SG Payments with ownership of all payments rails such as International Transfers, Domestic Transfers (FAST, PayNow, EDP, Cheques, Bill Payments, GIRO) and mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay).
Key Responsibilities
Strategy*
- Execute the digital payments strategy for Singapore to provide best-in-class payment services for our clients.
Business*
- Build and scale Singapore digital remittance proposition on SC Remit as an enabler for Deposits and international banking growth.
- Manage mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay), P2P and P2M payment solutions (PayNow), and international payments.
- Manage digital payments products from conceptualization to full commercial launch.
- Proactively connect with partners & industry experts to gauge the trend and create proposals to adopting new tech and tie up with new partners to launch leading payments products.
- Monetize capabilities and develop analytics to track performance.
- Lead and manage industry-wide or regulatory payments project.
- Pro-actively review, enhance and simplify our digital payments client journeys.

- Responsible to liaise with key business stakeholders including frontlines to ensure payments related processes are established with client centricity in mind and reviewed to ensure process efficiency.
- Ensure payments incidents are managed timely in the bank’s and clients’ best interest.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking/finance/computer science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Seasoned digital payments leader with 7+ years’ experience in product management or digital banking within financial institutions, owning end‑to‑end delivery of payments products.
- Demonstrated track record building and scaling remittances, P2P, and mobile wallet propositions, from concept to full commercial launch.
- Strong expertise across Singapore payment rails (FAST, PayNow, GIRO, cheques, bill payments) with sharp commercial, analytics and client-journey focus.
- Adept at managing complex regulatory, risk and governance requirements while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver best‑in‑class client payment experiences.
